18-03-2003 Ew... |
21-03-2003 A couple of Torus', some fun with the extrude tools. Pretty simple really. |
23-03-2003 I was so happy with this one I couldn't help but kick myself for not also painting the icon. (Rubelev) |
23-03-2003 Eh. I don't know, I was bored. |
06-04-2003 I don't want to hear any stuff about dimensions, it's healthy to practice winging it! |
09-04-2003 It's a ray... ...it's electric... ...yeah. Note: For those non US viewers, that's what our electric plugs look like. |
10-04-2003 Gosh I'm creative with these titles huh? |
11-04-2003 I was sitting through a decorative arts class and she was going on about flour de lis and stuff... |
13-04-2003 I'll admit that the character in the cross is an out of the box model, but that's it. This was for a quick 3d challenge I can't even remember. |
21-04-2003 Aside from the fact that the wing kind of looks more like a long fish, I'm pretty frickin happy with this one. |
21-04-2003 If there was ever a honest reason to stay in college, it's that I came up with some pretty decent stuff during those empty gaps between classes. |
25-04-2003 It was a strange notion to practice making a comic by emulating someone else's. Maybe I was still a little afraid to commit to my own characters? |
27-04-2003 I'm still not sure why I did these, but they look good... |
07-05-2003 Ears too small, legs too short, etc. etc. |
11-06-2003 Originally this pic wasn't supposed to be as creepy as it is, I saw it as actually being tender. But getting that kind of emotion out of robots isn't easy... |
01-07-2003 Minor doodle done on a train from Chicago to Wichita. Though I'm happy to say I had the foresight to bring soda bottles with screw on tops.
24-08-2003 Note to self: No pupils make for creepy faces... |
24-08-2003 I saw the form first, outlined it, drew it, shaded it, all without ever decided what he/she'd be reaching for. Now I've come to realize that it's actually best to leave that part unfinished. |
29-08-2003 What's a pequa? I haven't gotten to that comic yet... What's funny about this pic is the fact that I actually had to put her together in paintshop because when I was drawing her I wasn't paying attention to the "overall" and drew her legs on one part of the page and her torso on the other. |
19-11-2003 Practice makes perfect... |
30-12-2003 This was one of my first attempts at HDRI. Unfortunately I didn't have a mirror ball, so I just took six pictures for a sky cube. And I didn't really follow the tutorial well, it's just a colored box with radiosity turned on. So maybe it's not really HDRI so much as it is just some dino models. But then, you never need a reason to model dinos, do you? |
