21-01-04 Someone requested this character on an art forum and I felt like practicing my character drawing. Aside from the title the only other description was that she had a charisma of 24. I figured in the world of D&D you take a characters charisma stat x2 to get the bust measurement, and she was born. This is only the 4th cg coloring of a drawing I've done and I've decided I have to approach things differently. I need to vary the actual color of the image instead of just painting flat colors and adding a translucent black and white layer over that for shading. I have the same bad habit with real oils too. I tried using the lighten/darken RGB tools a bit towards the end, that was only slightly better. |

06-08-04 Continuing my strange habit of practicing my line work using other people's property, here's some fan art that kind of takes off of the first few strips of Count Your Sheep. |

14-10-2004 Discipline? Conviction? Commitment? Sorry, don't know these words. |

27-10-2004 All the previous ink drawings in the last few pages have been made with brush pens, this time I mixed it up with my high-school buddy, the .5 mm. I think it worked well, but some of the finer parts were lost in scanning/shrinking for the screen. The picture itself is only so-so. CRFH features a gun happy character in constant strife with Satan himself, represented sometimes by a bull, sometimes by a snake. I just combined them for this image. I think it's main problem is depth. The legs and arms have depth between them but the image as a whole is on too much of a plane, just as if it were on, well, a piece of paper. |
