79 Trans Am supercharger install

Update 10/22/03

I went out for a tuning run. I had a little problem with the harmonic ballancer.

I drove the car for the first time. It felt pretty good!

I started the car up for the first time. After I adjusted the fuel pressure regulator, it started right up and idled.

The supercharger mounting is complete. IT FITS!

The engine is in the car!!!

 I bought a  Vortech V-7 YS trim carbureted BBC kit and I am adapting it to my 455 Pontiac. I sold the carb enclosure that came with it and bought a procharger carb bonnet to go on top of my throttle body. I am also going to install multi port fuel injection. Here is my progress so far on 3/18/03:

A couple trips to a machine shop and $65 later and walaah! I now have a way to mount the pulley. 

I plan on mounting it with six total  posts like the two below:
