When I was a child I loved to look into the clouds. With my imagination soaring I would see angels, faces, and animals floating by. As an adult I realized I had lost this creative vision. My artwork had become controlled and stiff. I wanted to return to that child like vision and freedom of expression. With the guidance of the Angels I began to remember how to be like a kid again. One day I was led to this technique of "cloud gazing" on paper. I played with pastels and smudged them. Then I would sit back to see what I could see, and viola! The images would appear.

I draw what I see contained in the clouds of pastel colors.

I mostly see faces, people, angels, and eyes. I see these images in the clouds of pastels and enhance them so that everyone can see them. The drawings are not planned. I am surprised when I look at the finished drawing because the images seem to tell a story. The images, energy, and wisdom contained in my art are meant to inspire and awaken others.
