Spec was shown in the classes by his breeder, Michele Fujawa. Spec was Best of Winners at both National specialties in 1998. He was campaigned very briefly in 1999 by co-owner Cindy Cooke, winning several Groups and a Specialty. Spec was brought out of retirement late in 2001 after the President of the Irish Kennel Club saw him in the kennel and said, "That's one of the finest Scottish Terriers I've seen. Why aren't you showing him?" 

	Spec was a beautiful baby--one of three specialty-winning puppies in his litter.
