ISDN -
Basic Rate Interface (BRI) has two 64 Kbps B channels and one 16 Kbps data channel for control information. The two B channels can be combined to form a single 128 Kbps connection.
ADSL -
receives data at 8 Mbps for fast downloads and sends data at 640 Kbps. Uses only a part of the telephone line allowing you to talk on the telephone and work on the internet at the same time.
Fiber Optic -
cable carries no electrical impulses, the signal cannot be tapped and its data cannot be stolen. Fiber optic cable is good for very high-speed, high-capacity data transmission.
