_________________________________________ / -AGM/Host Forum- \ | -January 16, 2001- | | Recorded & Edited by Aubrey McMichaels | \___http://pages.prodigy.net/aubreymcm/___/ GameMaster Siri Macallan just arrived. Siri Macallan asks, "Okay, are we all ready for this?" Siri Macallan says, "Tonight's forum is all about the AGM and Host staffs." Siri Macallan says, "Specifically what it takes to join either of the staffs, and what I'm looking for." Siri Macallan says, "My perspective on GMing is um ... shall we say, rather time worn, and I'll be the one to make sure you fully understand the bad stuff. And we'll have someone else tell you about the good stuff. " Siri Macallan whistles a cheerful tune. Siri Macallan says, "I usually give this "chat" to all interviewees, but if I give it now, and answer the questions you all have, things will go much more smoothly for those who end up staying interested and have moved along in the process of hiring." Siri Macallan says, "It may be needless to say, but GMing takes you out of the realm of "fun and hobby" and sticks you smack into business." Siri Macallan says, "At least in Modus this is true." Siri Macallan says, "And in any of the Simutronics games." Siri Macallan says, "We are, first and foremost, a business." Siri Macallan says, "We're not in retail, and the customer isn't always right." Siri Macallan winks. Siri Macallan says, "But the customer deserves respect and attention, even if they're not right." Siri Macallan says, "We can hope that they'll give it to us in return, but that's not a "certain" prospect." Siri Macallan says, "GMing involves working on projects that better the game as a whole, and not just things the individual staff members think are cool." Siri Macallan says, "Most times they're one and the same. Sometimes though, they're not." Siri Macallan says, "All projects are approved, usually by me." Siri Macallan says, "And some have, of course, higher priority than others." Siri Macallan says, "Since this is a business, all AGMs are under contract and must be 18 years of age." Siri Macallan says, "We're hired as Independent Contractors, which means we handle our own taxes, both state and federal." Siri Macallan says, "Not that there's much by way of income to report ... but what there is is your own to handle tax wise." Siri Macallan grins. Siri Macallan gets a distant look on her face as she ponders. Siri Macallan says, "Some of the basic things we're looking for by way of both the Host staff and AGM staff are the ability to keep quiet about everything ..." Siri Macallan says, "To be able to keep all player and staff matters confidential." Siri Macallan says, "If you can't do that, don't bother applying." Siri Macallan says, "Because that's the biggie right there." Siri Macallan says, "We look for people who are interested in building on the world already there ... and specifically I'm looking for people who can contribute a good, solid 15 hours a week (if not more), are willing to work primarily on either events, coding, or areas." Siri Macallan says, "Before I get too far into the nitty gritty of it all, let's talk about the differences between the staffs." Siri Macallan says, "The Mentors are volunteers." Siri Macallan says, "They're not under contract at all, and they do everything out of the goodness of their hearts." Jackson Shepard nods. Siri Macallan says, "Hosts likewise are not under contract, but they receive compensation by way of a free premium account and a few assorted perks throughout their stint." Siri Macallan says, "Both Mentors and Hosts are required to adhere to confidentiality requirements." Siri Macallan says, "AGMs not only sign a contract stating that they'll maintain confidentiality (Non-Disclosure Agreement), but also agree to not compete with Simutronics during their time on staff and for a full year after." Siri Macallan says, "The GM staff is recompensed by free accounts and a very small share of the income generated by the game." Siri Macallan says, "I think the average AGM paycheck is about $20, and after we have more people on board, it certainly won't be more." Siri Macallan says, "GMs and Senior GMs get a little more." Siri Macallan says, "But don't quit your day job." Ceit Galbraith says, "Per month, that is." Siri Macallan gets a distant look on her face as she ponders. Siri Macallan asks, "What else is there?" Siri Macallan says, "One of the best "perks" about AGMing is that we really do have a great community." Siri Macallan says, "I honestly do think I have the best staff in Simutronics, and probably all of the online RPG world." Siri Macallan says, "They're awesome." Ashley London glances around. A group hug forms in the back. Siri Macallan grins. Siri Macallan asks, "Hope, wanna tell them what you think of being an AGM?" Siri Macallan says, "You're new and fresh and not cranky like me." Hope Fontaine smiles. Trevor Rage grins. Hope Fontaine says, "You only think that because you haven't had me answer your assist, Siri." Ceit Galbraith whispers to Hope, "Don't tell 'em about the induction ritual!" Hope Fontaine says, "First up? I love it." Hope Fontaine says, "I love being able to give back to a community that has given me so much for a long time." Hope Fontaine says, "It's fun, it's challenging" Hope Fontaine says, "I'm doing things that I didn't expect to." Hope Fontaine says, "I've been learning new skills that help me in the real world." Hope Fontaine says, "And brushing up on old ones that I hadn't used in a while." Siri Macallan leans on Hope Fontaine. Siri Macallan giggles. Siri Macallan says, "You get to do weird, cool things, like ghosting the Balmour hotel." Hope Fontaine says, "I think that's about it from me. For now, anyway." Siri Macallan says, "That was a kick." Trevor Rage says, "I get to kill people for fun and not get arrested for it." Trevor Rage rubs his hands together excitedly. Siri Macallan nods to Trevor Rage. Hope Fontaine says, "And he tests it on us." Trevor Rage chuckles. Ceit Galbraith says, "It's a lot of work." Siri Macallan nods. Siri Macallan says, "A LOT of work." Ceit Galbraith says, "The high point is seeing players enjoy the work you've put into it." Hope Fontaine says, "Definitely." Hope Fontaine nods to Ceit Galbraith. Ceit Galbraith says, "None of us do it for the money, that's for sure." Ryan Montoya chuckles. Trevor Rage chuckles. Ashley London asks, "You guys have been getting paid??" Ashley London glances around. Ceit Galbraith says, "But the staff is great, Siri is right." Eve Roquelaure just tickled Ashley London. Siri Macallan says, "Ashley only gets sent good thoughts." Siri Macallan says, "No money." Ashley London says, "Man." Trevor Rage grins at Ashley London. Ashley London grins. Jackson Shepard says, "No danger of getting bumped into a higher tax bracket though." Siri Macallan grins. Trevor Rage grins at Jackson Shepard. Bemp Clouseau says, "At least you might be able to write off you computer as a home business expense" Siri Macallan says, "And I do." Siri Macallan says, "And I write off mystery games, stories, paper to write on, everything I can." Trevor Rage begins chuckling at Siri Macallan. Siri Macallan says, "Anything I can legitimately say I used for inspiration." Ceit Galbraith says, "And SimuCon" Ceit Galbraith grins. Siri Macallan nods to Ceit Galbraith. Eve Roquelaure says, "Not to mention earning a convenient excuse when people ask you why you're online all the time." Siri Macallan nods to Eve Roquelaure. Trevor Rage says, "For those who like to create things, whether it's art, writing/poetry, music, whatever.. this is different, but it's a great creative outlet to express yourself. That was my personal draw from getting into it, and the fact I've always been an avid gamer." Siri Macallan says, "And Rage wasn't even a mystery dude." Siri Macallan just nudged Trevor Rage. Trevor Rage says, "Nope, nowhere close." Liz Larson says, "Rage IS a mystery" Jennifer Plumley agrees with Liz Larson. Remi MacGregor says, "He's definitely *something*..." Remi MacGregor coughs. Allison McGuire grins at Remi MacGregor. Leila Meridian grins at Remi MacGregor. Siri Macallan says, "A couple of perks which the hosts get are things like being able to test things out first." Jennifer Plumley says, "Of course, we mean that as a compliment, Trevor." Trevor Rage says, "I was beating up trolls for a living and landed here somehow. And I don't look back at all. It's been great." Trevor Rage pokes Remi MacGregor in the ribs. Trevor Rage grins at Jennifer Plumley. Trevor Rage pokes Liz Larson in the ribs. Siri Macallan says, "... designing tables for the large merchant events." Siri Macallan says, "... Playing mystery characters for us." Trevor Rage grins. Julia Lowery steps out of the shadows. Siri Macallan says, "And free sno-cones." Julia Lowery glances around. Julia Lowery gets a blue-raspberry snow-cone from inside her navy canvas backpack. Ashley London says, "And babysitting my poodle." Siri Macallan nods. Siri Macallan says, "Fifi the Devil Dog." Trevor Rage says, "And the hosts got to test the Gladiator arena first." Trevor Rage drools. Ryan Montoya flicks his fingers against a baggy white t-shirt with the words "No bark, all bite!" bordering an image of Fifi the poodle. Ashley London says, "The hosts also tested the Louis Hotel ... fishing ..." Suzette Harmon asks, "What's it like to be a merchant? Is it a lot of fun?" Julia Lowery says, "If you consider "testing" getting your rear wiped all over the ground by Trevor." Trevor Rage nods to Ashley London. Trevor Rage whistles a cheerful tune. Siri Macallan says, "Merchanting can be a really great time, or a really bad time." Ashley London says, "Merchanting is very hard work, actually." Melanie Alexis nods. Siri Macallan says, "Depends on how ready the players are, and what sort of mood they're in, and how long a list it is." Ashley London says, "How late at night it is an how long a day you've had." Siri Macallan says, "And what sort of mood you're in, and if you were awake to start with." Siri Macallan agrees with Ashley London. Ashley London nods to Siri Macallan. Hope Fontaine says, "You get a real appreciation for all those times you sat in line and whined about how long it took. Sitting in line was the easy bit." Eve Roquelaure says, "And how many other sessions you've done that week." Siri Macallan nods to Eve Roquelaure. Courtney Chisolm smiles. Remi MacGregor takes a sip of her Irish Breakfast tea. Suzette Harmon asks, "Can you be any kind of merchant you want, or is that approved ahead of time?" Ceit Galbraith says, "But it's also fun to see the excitement of people when they get something they've always wanted." Ceit Galbraith smiles. Ryan Montoya grins at Ceit Galbraith. Siri Macallan says, "We've got some niches already filled, so usually we try to work in new merchant types." Siri Macallan says, "So yeah, the type needs to be given an 'okay'." Suzette Harmon asks, "Do AGMs ever help design new rooms?" Siri Macallan says, "All the time." Siri Macallan says, "Always." Jennifer Plumley says, "I loved the valentine flower delivery...that would be nice to get back." Reese Broselle says, "We did it all." Siri Macallan exclaims, "Yes, yes, yes!" Ryan Montoya chuckles. Siri Macallan says, "And I need more area builders in a huge way." Bemp Clouseau asks, "does that require programming knowledge?" Ryan Montoya stinks at room writing. Ryan Montoya whistles a cheerful tune. Siri Macallan says, "If you can write, spell, have a good grasp of grammar and flow, please apply." Siri Macallan says, "Must be 18 or older. Sorry, No CODs." Melanie Alexis exclaims, "available in 49 states, sorry Tennessee!" Melanie Alexis ducks her head. Mark Grant says, "i failed speliling" Floyd Barrett says, "well that takes me out of it." Dylan Perry says, "And Florida well, enough said" Siri Macallan says, "We also need people who are willing to run events." Siri Macallan says, "Like the Solstice events, and the mysteries (designing, building, running, supervising)." Siri Macallan says, "And people who want to program." Jennifer Plumley asks, "Do we have to be a GM or host to do that, or can we just volunteer?" Ceit Galbraith says, "Any technical knowledge that is needed, we pretty much do the training." Siri Macallan asks, "To do which, Jennifer?" Jennifer Plumley says, "Help with events, that is." Remi MacGregor asks, "So, assuming someone applies who has absolutely NO programming knowledge, you'll teach?" Siri Macallan says, "While there are player-run events, I'm specifically looking for AGMs to be specifically plugged into that niche." Siri Macallan nods to Remi MacGregor. Ceit Galbraith says, "Ayup, just like I was taught." Marc Taylor asks, "What type of programming?" Trevor Rage says, "You can definitely walk in with no prior knowledge and learn a -ton- if code is something you desire to learn." Siri Macallan says, "It's called GSL, it's a C-based proprietal language." Melanie Alexis says, "its actually not that hard at all." Siri Macallan says, "It's pretty easy to learn." Reese Broselle says, "You get some of the best teachers ever." Hope Fontaine says, "Very patient." Hope Fontaine grins. Bemp Clouseau asks, "What kind of computer software/hardware/phone connection do you need?" Trevor Rage says, "It's actually nothing like c, for those who know c. The game engine is built in C, but GSL is.. well, if I had to make a comparison, maybe like basic or pascal. Very easy." Siri Macallan nods to Trevor Rage. Siri Macallan says, "Computer stuff ..." Siri Macallan says, "One that runs." Trevor Rage says, "The hard part is learning the logic and theory of how the game runs. If you have logic oriented mind you'll go far." Siri Macallan says, "One that has ample memory for all the crud you store on it." Ashley London scratches her head, looking a bit confused. Siri Macallan says, "A separate phone line." Siri Macallan says, "I don't care if you're working with an older modem, like I do, or a DSL set up ... you will need to have a line of some type that allows you to not be disconnected any time someone wants to make a call." Siri Macallan says, "You can use a Mac or PC, doesn't matter." Bemp Clouseau says, "So you actually talk to each other, not just electronically" Siri Macallan says, "Now that we have the Wizard to work through, it's a lot easier than in the past." Siri Macallan says, "We talk on the phone ... but usually just to chat." Ashley London grins. Siri Macallan says, "AIM is great for other things, or we talk on what is called the GM Backchannel." Jennifer Plumley asks, "Is an ISP/LAN acceptable?" Ashley London says, "You can definately count on a higher phone bill from making friends on staff." Trevor Rage grins at Ashley London. Ashley London grins. Trevor Rage nods to Jennifer Plumley. Siri Macallan says, "Which basically allows us to kibitz and blab to each other no matter where we are in the game." Jennifer Plumley asks, "That would basically be a comm channel available only to staff?" Dylan Perry asks, "When your in as players is your GM channel still in use?" Siri Macallan says, "Similar." Julie Green asks, "So you spend the money you make on the phone with each other?" Julie Green giggles. Siri Macallan grins. Ryan Montoya nods to Julia Lowery. Ryan Montoya flails his arms about. Ceit Galbraith chuckles. Siri Macallan says, "The staffs work on weekends, holidays and other times when sane people are taking long, leisurely breaks." Siri Macallan says, "While I understand that real life takes precedence, I do need people who can commit hours." Jennifer Plumley says, "Because we're HERE taking long, leisurely breaks." Eve Roquelaure says, "Witness us here in the wee hours." Siri Macallan says, "All GMs pull duty shifts once a week." Siri Macallan says, "ALL of them. I pull them as needed." Siri Macallan says, "And the Hosts pull three." Remi MacGregor asks, "Is the scheduling pretty regular?" Jennifer Plumley asks, "Duty shifts?" Suzette Harmon asks, "What is a duty shift? Answering assists?" Siri Macallan nods to Suzette Harmon. Ashley London nods to Suzette Harmon. Ceit Galbraith says, "I dunno if this is something that others wonder...I did when I was applying. In the GM staff, everyone starts as an AGM, and get promoted as your skills develop." Siri Macallan says, "That's when players assist and yell at you for their whoozit being broken." Siri Macallan ducks her head. Siri Macallan says, "Well, in some cases its true." Siri Macallan says, "And that's the hardest part of being a GM." Jennifer Plumley asks, "Is that shift in addition to the minimum of 15 hours, or is that included in that total?" Remi MacGregor says, "I don't yell. I merely raise my voice to a high decibel level." Remi MacGregor grumbles about something. Melanie Alexis asks, "are hosts required to do 15 hours a week too?" Siri Macallan says, "You get a lot of grief from players who gossip, or report things as fact that they know nothing about, and call you every name in the book for enforcing policy." Ashley London looks over at Melanie Alexis and shakes her head. Siri Macallan says, "That's the downside." Ashley London says, "Hosts do three two-and-a-half hour shifts. However, they can put in more time voluntarily to do testing, design items for tables, etc." Jennifer Plumley asks, "So the main job of Hosts is the duty shifts?" Siri Macallan says, "All shifts are schedule ... the hosts have specific times they are on duty, and the GM staff has a day and range of times they are on duty." Siri Macallan nods to Jennifer Plumley. Jennifer Plumley asks, "Most everything else is voluntary?" Ashley London nods to Jennifer Plumley. Ashley London says, "And shifts are scheduled. So you're supposed to be there at the appointed time three times a week." Kevin Oglvie asks, "Is the training pretty informal one-on-one, or are there set classes and such?" Melanie Alexis asks, "can you pick your shifts to accomodate your schedule ahead of time?" Siri Macallan says, "Classes are set up around mutual schedules." Siri Macallan says, "And so are schedules." Siri Macallan says, "Hosts are given a list of what shifts are available and seniority takes precedence." Siri Macallan says, "GMs send me a list of three days they most prefer to pull duty, and I schedule them based on everyone's response." Siri Macallan says, "The GM duty schedule changes maybe once every three months." Siri Macallan asks, "Are there any questions specifically about Hosting ... let's do those first?" Sydney Thommas asks, "what about warnings? are you going to turn an application down because they got their mouth washed out by the soap lady?" Sydney Thommas ducks her head. Ashley London says, "Soap lady isn't a warning. But one thing we do look for is emotional maturity." Jennifer Plumley asks, "What exactly are the things that you look for that makes you choose one application over another?" Ashley London says, "For hosts." Sydney Thommas nods. Siri Macallan says, "Depends on the player, how long they've been around, what sort of un-warned grief they've given the staff, how well I think they'd fit in with the rest of the group, and what their skill base is." Bemp Clouseau asks, "Do hosts choose their own names or is one assigned to you?" Ashley London says, "You choose your own." Siri Macallan says, "Mostly the ability to be fair, mature and follow the rules, Jennifer." Siri Macallan says, "And the ability to be totally confidential about what you learn in your host position." Ashley London says, "That's very important." Ashley London says, "I'd also like to say that Hosting is a good jumping off place for GMing for some." Siri Macallan nods. Siri Macallan says, "Yep." Siri Macallan says, "I hire mainly from the hosting staff." Ashley London says, "If you're not certain you want to GM, or don't make it first go-round, it's a great place to prove yourself." Ashley London says, "And ... what Siri said." Ashley London says, "And you don't have to be 18." Siri Macallan says, "And hosts don't have to be 18." Ashley London grins. Siri Macallan grins. Ashley London leans on Siri Macallan. Siri Macallan says, "Hosts and AGMs are not RPing positions." Siri Macallan exclaims, "A lot of people come on thinking Whoa, I'll have this great GM character!" Siri Macallan says, "And it really doesn't work." Siri Macallan says, "We have what I call "GM Hats"." Siri Macallan says, "We're not IC entities." Jennifer Plumley says, "The basic title of GM means that you can't be IC, the way I see it..." Jennifer Plumley furrows her brow. Siri Macallan says, "Trevor has his trench coat ... I have my fawn pants that I sometimes wear ... Ashley has Fifi and her stewardess outfit." Siri Macallan says, "But we're not characters." Bemp Clouseau says, "Even though you make up your names" Siri Macallan nods to Bemp Clouseau. Siri Macallan says, "Oh sure." Remi MacGregor focuses for an instant, a glaze of clarity in her eyes as she takes on a perfectly tranquil look. Rick Mitchell says, "The names have been changed to protect the . . .umm. . . " Rick Mitchell grins. Siri Macallan says, "My name came from my favorite instructor in Management Studies and my favorite single malt scotch." Julie Green says, "Guilty" Sarah Ninesling says, "I have a bit of a question...It probably wont make sense though... cause I rarely do" Julia Lowery says, "Well, there's a great piece of trivia." Siri Macallan grins at Julia Lowery. Sarah Ninesling asks, "Well aside from information supplied on an application for a position, you have to hire people based on what you know of their behaviour. But people on the island are acting outside their normal behaviours arent they? So is it hard to figure out who people REALLy are?" Siri Macallan says, "Well ..." Siri Macallan says, "Nah." Siri Macallan says, "You watch people day in and day out and you can tell what's them and what's memorex." Sarah Ninesling says, "I just want it noted that I dont actually talk to Mosquitos" Eve Roquelaure chuckles. Melanie Alexis says, "sure sure" Melanie Alexis snickers. Kevin Oglvie asks, "Regardless, is there any sort of interview process?" Siri Macallan says, "Oooooh yes." Siri Macallan says, "I rake everyone over the fire." Trevor Rage grins at Siri Macallan. Remi MacGregor asks, "Anything like Jackson's interviews?" Siri Macallan says, "That's where I get to ask you what you like about Modus, what you hate, what you think GMing is all about, why you want to, etc." Jackson Shepard chuckles. Eve Roquelaure says, "The interviews are a great way of getting exercise while sitting down." Siri Macallan says, "Worse than Jackson's." Jackson Shepard says, "Mentor Interviews focus more on Roleplaying, but I did learn from Siri and Ashley." Jackson Shepard smiles. Ashley London grins. Siri Macallan says, "We talk about hours, and what you really, honestly, truly, clearly think you can give to the staff." Siri Macallan says, "I also give you all a chance to ask me any questions you have." Mark Grant asks, "any?" Ryan Sloan asks, "any?" Siri Macallan shakes her head sadly. Sara McGyver says, "Uh oh, pandora's box was just opened.." Julia Lowery laughs! Trevor Rage says, "She didn't say you would come out of the interview alive." Siri Macallan grins at Trevor Rage. Ryan Montoya taps his robotic implant. Bemp Clouseau asks, "Do you then go through a trial period?" Dylan Perry mum probably have to beat Trevor in the arena just to get to the interview. Dylan Perry coughs. Trevor Rage grins at Dylan Perry. Siri Macallan says, "Something I want to talk about with all sincerity is the concept of fairness." Siri Macallan says, "Hosts are expected to be unbiased in the performance of their duties." Siri Macallan says, "Which means that even if you're dating someone, if they screw up they're toast." Siri Macallan says, "Or even if you hate someone with a passion, you set it aside and listen fairly and considerately to what they need." Siri Macallan says, "GMs have to go one step further ..." Siri Macallan says, "We're not supposed to participate in non-Simutronics lists or websites." Siri Macallan says, "We're not supposed to discuss situations outside the game with anyone who is not on a Simu staff." Siri Macallan says, "Heck, we're not supposed to talk about ANYTHING with ANYONE concerning internal Simu stuff." Siri Macallan says, "So if you run websites or slam sites or lists ... they have to go defunct before you can join the GMs staff." Siri Macallan says, "And I'll push for you to close them before you start the host staff as well." Jackson Shepard says, "Which is why we go into "whisper mode" a lot at SimuCon. If you come, don't think we're being rude. That is why we do that." Trevor Rage nods to Jackson Shepard. Siri Macallan says, "That's simply because of this one reason ... how can a player expect a GM to be fair if they've seen you trash someone on a list, or gossip about someone, etc." Siri Macallan asks, "Any other questions about being on staff?" Siri Macallan exclaims, "Ooooh!" Siri Macallan says, "You have to be willing to be unpopular." Trevor Rage chuckles. Hope Fontaine says, "And or adored." Hope Fontaine grins. Remi MacGregor asks, "How often do characters and staff get connected?" Siri Macallan says, "Because, like it or not, you will, as a GM, be called upon to lock someone out, or tell them their name won't work, or tell them their item poofed and it's really truly gone." Siri Macallan says, "While the Senior staff, which is Ceit, Eve and Trevor, and I will do a lot of that, it is everyone's responsibility." Ashley London says, "If you're a host, just blame the GMs, though." Julia Lowery says, "That's what I always do." Julia Lowery nods. Ashley London nods to Julia Lowery. Siri Macallan asks, "Connected as in attached?" Trevor Rage grins at Ashley London. Siri Macallan asks, "Or connected as in something else?" Remi MacGregor says, "The second." Melanie Alexis asks, "i think she means matched up?" Melanie squints. Siri Macallan says, "Elaborate, Remi." Remi MacGregor says, "Connected as in so and so plays this character." Remi MacGregor says, "And they're this staff member." Siri Macallan says, "You can count on it happening." Siri Macallan says, "It may take a while ..." Arielle Drummond asks, "So how often is it right?" Siri Macallan says, "But eventually, someone will out you." Allison McGuire says, "That's irritating." Allison McGuire chuckles. Siri Macallan says, "Frequently." Siri Macallan says, "Yes, it is." Siri Macallan nods to Allison McGuire. Trevor Rage says, "It is my recommendation that if you are concerned about being 100% safe from being "known", you invest in a pay account and tell no one and hope that none of your mannerisms give you away. That's the sad facts, unfortunately." Siri Macallan says, "I have my own account, as do many of the GMs." Ashley London exclaims, "And watch those log ins and log outs!" Siri Macallan says, "We don't share who we are." Siri Macallan says, "If people didn't get so freaked about playing with a GM in a PC ... we wouldn't have to." Ashley London nods to Siri Macallan. Siri Macallan says, "But, since you all do, we end up going into hiding." Suzette Harmon asks, "Why do you think people get freaked out?" Siri Macallan says, "That's the facts, ma'am." Ashley London says, "Actually, we're all Siri." Siri Macallan says, "Heck, I don't know." Siri Macallan nods to Ashley London. Siri Macallan says, "You all, is a Royal "y'all" ... sort of like the Royal "we"." George Reid says, "Once the players find out which player characters are hosts, they either go out of their way to whack you upside the head so they can say they have, or they go out of their way to suck up to you. Either one isn't much fun. At least, that's been my own non-Modus experience." Siri Macallan says, "It just gets icky at times." Siri Macallan shrugs. Miranda Myles says, "Have to like people based on themselves..and for nothing else." Siri Macallan says, "And there are a lot of assumptions made about cheating or favortism, etc ... cause GMs are thought to not be allowed to have buddies in the game." Siri Macallan says, "Just to clarify a question Britney had ..." Siri Macallan says, "The duties for a host are primarily (99%) of the time, handling assists on their duty shifts." Courtney Chisolm says, "How can you separate yourself and not be friends with the people you spend time with on a daily basis? That seems to take all the joy out of being here at all." Siri Macallan says, "The duties for the GM staff is handling assists but also building the game, fixing the game, monitoring the game and plotting for balance and expansion." Siri Macallan says, "One of the easiest ways is to keep work and play separate." Siri Macallan says, "For example, and not to make this sound mean or anything, but as Siri, I don't make friends." Siri Macallan says, "I try not to, at least with the players." Siri Macallan says, "When I play my PC, then I can have my friends." Siri Macallan says, "Because that's my off hours." Julia Lowery says, "Or, if you're a Host, and not a GM, you can just be friends with everyone." Siri Macallan says, "Now, I've got awesome friends in the GM staff." Julia Lowery bats her eyelashes. Siri Macallan says, "So it's not like a lonely existence or anything." Siri Macallan grins. Allison McGuire asks, "Do you have hosts that work on area building ... if they do it beyond their normal shift work?" Siri Macallan says, "We haven't done that yet, except for the host lounge, but it's something we may add in." Allison McGuire nods. Remi MacGregor says, "Oh, question, might have been answered already though." Remi MacGregor scratches her head, looking a bit confused. Liz Larson says, "oo, can we get a tour of the shadows..other than the jail cell" Melanie Alexis laughs! Siri Macallan says, "We'll probably have the Office Tour again in Feb." Remi MacGregor asks, "You said that you tend to hire from the GH's. Do GH's keep their names when they get promoted?" Melanie Alexis says, "and the consultation room." Siri Macallan says, "Usually not, Remi. Most start fresh." Siri Macallan says, "But that's their choice." Trevor Rage asks, "Ugh, you mean I have to clean my office?" Trevor Rage whimpers. Siri Macallan nods to Trevor Rage. Trevor Rage chuckles. Siri Macallan says, "All the blood and body parts have to go." Sarah Ninesling exclaims, "Trevor Works in an office?!" Remi MacGregor says, "Hey, I've offered to do that, Trevor." Remi MacGregor hums a tune softly to herself. Trevor Rage chuckles. Remi MacGregor gets a pocketed, sheer white lacy apron which accentuates her feminine features from inside her messenger bag. Trevor Rage grins at Remi MacGregor. Remi MacGregor gets a large black, silver, and white feather duster from inside her lacy apron. Eve Roquelaure says, "Throw 'em in my cell, Trevor, something in there needs to eat anyway." Remi MacGregor waves a large black, silver, and white feather duster around. Trevor Rage pokes Remi MacGregor in the ribs. Remi MacGregor giggles. Liz Larson says, "And all the soda cans and chip wrappers must go too" Trevor Rage snickers at Eve Roquelaure. Britney Carson smiles. Kara McLoud says, "you're not gonna wear a biohazard suit, Remi? Brave woman." Trevor Rage grins at Liz Larson. GameMaster Trevor Rage turns his head toward Kara McLoud and raises an eyebrow in interest. Trevor Rage chuckles. Siri Macallan says, "We do work to deadlines here." Siri Macallan says, "Believe it or not." Siri Macallan says, "It's not a free for all." Bemp Clouseau asks, "So most of your staff comes from Modus player pool, or other Simu games as well?" Siri Macallan says, "But I try to give everyone plenty of warning, and work with individual schedules." Siri Macallan says, "Modus player pool." Morgan Whitney asks, "How many hours a week would you have to commit to for being a AGM or host?" Siri Macallan says, "Trevor was the last one I pretty much stole from the GS3 players." Trevor Rage flexes his arm, showing off a rock hard series of tightly-bunched muscles. Siri Macallan asks, "Hosts are what 9 hours?" Siri Macallan glances at Ashley London. Ashley London multiplies 2.5 x 3. Ashley London asks, "7.5?" Ceit Galbraith nods to Ashley London. Ashley London says, "Seven and a half hours minimum." Siri Macallan says, "Right now I'm looking for GMs who can work a dead minimum of 15/week." Siri Macallan says, "I'd rather have more. Lots more." Bemp Clouseau asks, "more GM's or more hours?" Siri Macallan says, "Yes." Morgan Whitney asks, "Do you have to be able to work the weekends?" Amanda Jackson asks, "Does past history factor into being accepted?" Amanda Jackson bats her eyelashes. Hope Fontaine says, "She locks us in our offices till we're done." Courtney Chisolm says, "Would 40 hours do? I'm against more than a 40-hour work week in principle." Siri Macallan says, "We have a boat load of things we want to do now that the main systems have finally been completed." Ashley London says, "Lots of our events are on weekends." Suzette Harmon asks, "Can you do all 15 hours in one day?" Suzette Harmon giggles. Siri Macallan says, "And the more people we have, the more we can get done." Siri Macallan says, "I have before." Siri Macallan says, "I don't recommend it." Trevor smirks at Siri Macallan. Matt Browne says, "coffee is your friend" Siri Macallan nods to Matt Browne. Eve Roquelaure says, "The 25th hour is the real downer." Trevor Rage grins at Eve Roquelaure. Siri Macallan grins at Eve Roquelaure. George Reid asks, "Am I correct in understanding that running another online RPG would be seen as a conflict? Meaning one would have to leave the staff of the other game?" Matt Browne says, "so that's when all those renegades invaded. you fell asleep on the create button" Siri Macallan says, "No kidding, there are times I put in fifteen hours a day in here for a week at a time." Ashley London nods to George Reid. Trevor Rage begins chuckling at Matt Browne. Siri Macallan says, "When we're prepping for something like the Solstice events or the Halloween party or a really involved mystery, those kinds of hours are required." Trevor Rage nods to Siri Macallan. Trevor Rage says, "I don't want to even think about how many hours I spent on that arena for RenFaire." Trevor Rage shudders. Ashley London says, "Or the auctions." Trevor Rage nods to Ashley London. Melanie Alexis says, "yeah all that work and you wont let us play in it anymore" Dennis Bauer asks, "Are the hours mostly at set times, or can you do 15 hours in one day one week, and then split the hours over several days another week?" Mark Grant says, "Trevor admit it you NEVER SLeep" Melanie Alexis begins nagging Trevor Rage unmercifully. Siri Macallan nods to Sarah Ninesling. Trevor Rage laughs! Mark Grant says, "your the undead" Jackson Shepard says, "Sometimes those hours are spent in research or preparing offline even before you get back in the game too." Melanie Alexis mumbles something about finishing her Battle Royale with Snake. Trevor Rage says, "I think Eve may have me beat, believe it or not. She's here pretty much all the time." Trevor Rage grins at Eve Roquelaure. Trevor Rage nods to Amanda Jackson. Eve Roquelaure ducks her head. Trevor Rage babbles incoherently. Siri Macallan says, "You wouldn't believe how much I know about handguns and explosives now." Trevor Rage nods to Jackson Shepard. Morgan Whitney asks, "Are you looking to hire people soon or in a few months?" Siri Macallan says, "NOW." Siri Macallan says, "Now, now, now." Trevor Rage says, "Yesterday." Mark Grant asks, "so then is that something we shoudl do.. become zombies?" Ryan Montoya nods to Mark Grant. Siri Macallan says, "There's a lot to be said about being a zombie." Mark Grant says, "okay i can do that" Morgan Whitney asks, "If we designed a home could we used that as a writing sample?" Morgan Whitney ducks her head. Amanda Jackson asks, "Does behavior as a player effect being chosen for staff?" Kevin Oglvie says, "I already have the blank stare down" Kevin Oglvie stares blankly into the distance. Liz Larson says, "Eve, if you are operating on no sleep, please put the .38 special away..its kind of dangerous" Trevor Rage laughs! Eve Roquelaure sniffles. Eve Roquelaure puts her Special in her tuxedo pants. Siri Macallan says, "I know I keep harping on this but the best reason to work for Simu on Modus is because you love the game." Ashley peers quizzically at Eve. Trevor Rage offers a 12-gauge shotgun to Eve Roquelaure. Eve Roquelaure accepts a 12-gauge shotgun from Trevor Rage. Eve Roquelaure grins. Liz gawks at Trevor. Liz Larson pokes Trevor Rage in the ribs. Trevor Rage says, "She's right. You need something that is easier to aim." Morgan Whitney says, "Love or addiction." Siri Macallan says, "Same diff." Siri Macallan nods to Morgan Whitney. Eve Roquelaure pats her shotgun. Liz Larson ducks behind Trevor. Bemp Clouseau asks, "Do you want the same application for both Host and AGM or separate?" Siri Macallan says, "Separate, as Ashley does hosts hires and I do AGM hires." Siri Macallan says, "If you want an AGM app, please Email me at MO-Siri@play.net." Siri Macallan says, "I *think* the one in the library is up to date, but you never know." Courtney Chisolm asks, "If we've submitted an app in the past, should we submit again or assume it's on file?" Ryan Sloan asks, "and if you want host?" Liz Larson says, "Can I make a suggestion for the Mentor site though..put the application on it" Siri Macallan says, "Um ... if its been more than a year or things have changed, send a new one." Sara McGyver says, "the application is on the mentor site, I believe." Liz Larson looks over at Sarah Ninesling and shakes her head. Liz Larson coughs. Jennifer Plumley nods to Sarah Ninesling. Sarah Ninesling asks, "If we have sent an application for host and or Agm in the past couple of months is that ok?" Jennifer Plumley says, "It is." Siri Macallan says, "Should be okay." Jackson Shepard says, "The Mentor Application is at the Modus section of the Mentor site." Jackson Shepard says, "It needs to be updated, but it is there." Jennifer Plumley says, "It's got an error, though." Jennifer Plumley pokes Jackson Shepard in the ribs. Jennifer Plumley says, "It scared me, remember? At the end, it gives the contact info for the Gemstones rep." Sara McGyver says, "It's fun to select your guild." Dylan Perry says, "Yeah i decided to be a barbarian" Siri Macallan says, "It looks like both host and AGM apps are current in the library." Melanie Alexis says, "have a good night all, thanks for the info" Melanie Alexis waves. Melanie Alexis just left. Ashley London says goodnight to the cloud of dust that was Melanie. Trevor Rage grins at Ashley London. Siri Macallan asks, "Any other questions about Mentoring, Hosting or AGMing?" Courtney Chisolm asks, "Can you do more than one without going crazy?" Meda Fyre asks, "So the basis of hosting is just answering assists?" Siri Macallan says, "We've had people who host and mentor." Siri Macallan says, "They usually go crazy." Ashley London nods to Meda Fyre. Dennis Bauer asks, "For those of you who have full time jobs in addition to this one, how do you organize your time?" Liz Larson says, "Crazy is a prerequisite" Ceit Galbraith grins. Ceit Galbraith asks, "Time?" Ceit Galbraith asks, "What's that?" Courtney Chisolm says, "I thought I might just cut out the go part and start crazy." Siri Macallan says, "Very carefully." Eve Roquelaure says, "It helps if you discard the idea of organizing it." Siri Macallan says, "I work late at night, I get up early in the morning." Trevor Rage grins at Mark Grant. Siri Macallan says, "When I'm not at work, I'm here." Siri Macallan says, "I schedule my family time, just to make sure they get some." Ceit Galbraith says, "Really, though...I actually think of Modus work as more of a fun thing than a work thing." Siri Macallan says, "You learn to not bite off more than you can chew." Sarah Ninesling says, "Children and spouses no longer remember your name, they just refer to you as that "Gal" at the computer desk" Liz Larson says, "I can see it now..but son, its not time for snack..see, here's the schedule" Siri Macallan says, "There are days when it's not fun, and it's just straight work." Siri Macallan says, "Then there are days when its's totally amazing to be here." Dennis Bauer asks, "I know that you said hosts usually change their names if they become agms, but I missed the part on whether or not they can keep their names if they want?" Siri Macallan says, "Like anything else, you take the rough rides with the smooth ones." Siri Macallan says, "Yep, they can keep them if they want." Allison McGuire says, "Hosting doesn't sound big on creative outlet." Siri Macallan says, "It's not." Siri Macallan says, "Well ..." Julia Lowery says, "That's why we host creative games." Julia Lowery whistles a cheerful tune. Siri Macallan asks, "Julia, what do you think?" Ashley London says, "Well, it can be if you want it too." Julia Lowery exclaims, "Of course it is!" Siri Macallan pushes Julia out into the limelight. Julia Lowery says, "oof." Allison McGuire says, "Splain." Liz Larson exclaims, "Julia is creative with games!" Julia Lowery says, "Well, you guys know how much I bug you all to come play games and keep the shifts entertaining." Julia Lowery grins. Allison McGuire says, "True, I was forgetting those." Sarah Ninesling says, "Some Hosts have awesome like... games they do and they have really great little accents and caharacters and there isnt a day that goes by that I dont wish I was doing the hula with Kawena" Julia Lowery says, "Ashley creates stuff for us during the big events if she has time, so we get to design things for RenFaire and the like." Mark Grant says, "yeah i remember all those annoying games..." Mark Grant says, "er i mean fun" Julia Lowery says, "We don't create them, but we do get to design them. And we get to design game prizes." Julia Lowery stares at Mark Grant. Allison McGuire asks, "But what if you want to learn to create them instead of design only?" Allison McGuire asks, "Then you have to move up to AGM?" Liz Larson chants "scavanger hunt" over and over. Ashley London nods to Allison McGuire. Siri Macallan nods to Allison McGuire. Allison McGuire says, "I can't see being comfortable with not knowing how it all works." Allison McGuire chuckles. Allison McGuire says, "That's why I'm asking." Julia Lowery says, "And as much as Siri is talking about how bad answering assists is, I think it's fun. And as a host, you get to be nice and liked and it's basically a nice place to be on the Food Chain of Staff." Allison McGuire grins at Julia Lowery. Siri Macallan says, "Siri is majorly jaded after the holiday rush." Siri Macallan says, "Don't mind her." Trevor Rage begins chuckling at Siri Macallan. Ashley London says, "Hosts also get to see more of the players than we do." Ashley London says, "Which I personally enjoyed when I hosted." Ashley London was a host for FOREVER. Jennifer Plumley says, "I have a question about scheduling..." Jennifer Plumley furrows her brow. Julia Lowery says, "And Ashley loved it so much she decided to manage us." You see Julia Lowery pet her head. Jennifer Plumley asks, "I have a job that I'm often scheduled until 10 at night...let's say I was scheduled to work at 11pm, but my work ran over, as it sometimes does...how much of a problem is this?" Julia Lowery exclaims, "We get to greet new tourists too, of course, and first impressions are everything. Gotta be creative with it or you could be the first step in molding them to be very boring people!" Siri Macallan says, "Ashley was one of our very first hosts." Siri Macallan beams happily at Ashley London. Ashley London smiles at Siri Macallan. Siri Macallan says, "It's like any other job." Siri Macallan says, "Sometimes you are late, and that's life." Jennifer Plumley nods. Siri Macallan says, "But if it becomes a problem, then we'll have to work something out." Jennifer Plumley says, "As long as I let someone know, Hey, I'm scheduled until 10, I'll hurry back." Trevor Rage says, "You come in late every other week for a shift, with a golf bag over your shoulder, we gotta talk." Trevor Rage chuckles. Kevin Oglvie asks, "Is there typically a lot of support... like if assists come up that one might be clueless on?" Ashley London nods to Kevin Oglvie. Siri Macallan says, "Someone is usually around, even if they're hiding, to scream for." Hope Fontaine says, "Thank goodness." Hope Fontaine grins. Kevin Oglvie says, "Thats comforting" Ashley London says, "Hosts get support from the GM staff and other hosts. And they get a little training from me ... enough to totally confuse them." Siri Macallan says, "I'm going to try to get this batch of hiring over and done with by the end of the month." Siri Macallan says, "Which means that the new staffs will have their access and accounts set up come first of Feb." Suzette Harmon asks, "Do you know when the next time you will be hiring is? Is it usually once a year?" Siri Macallan says, "There will be another smaller hiring frenzy in a few months." Morgan Whitney asks, "So if you plan on applying when should you get your application in by?" Siri Macallan says, "And then probably another one come Octoberish." Suzette Harmon says, "I'm asking because of other obligations, such as school, which is only for now. When I'm done with school, I'll have more time." Siri Macallan says, "Lesse ... it's Tuesday? I'd really like them in over the weekend." Jennifer Plumley asks, "When could we expect to hear from anyone, if you all are interested in our application?" Bemp Clouseau asks, "That goes for the Hosts, too?" Bemp Clouseau glances at Ashley London. Ashley London says, "I'll be contacting hosts for interviews as soon as the apps come in." Siri Macallan nods to Bemp Clouseau. Ashley London says, "And I look over the other ones. But by next week for sure." Siri Macallan says, "If I'm interested, I'll probably send you a letter next week, assuming I have your app." Ashley London says, "If you've already submitted an application for hosting you might want to drop me a line and say you're still interested." Siri Macallan says, "If I don't think it will work out, I'll send you a note saying so, and also letting you know why." Siri Macallan says, "If I have suggestions, I'll offer them." Remi MacGregor asks, "This includes apps on file?" Remi MacGregor glances at Siri Macallan. Jennifer Plumley asks, "Is that the same with Hosting?" Jennifer peers quizzically at Ashley. Ashley London says, "Drop me a note if you've already submitted an application." Ashley London says, "To make sure it's still on file." Ashley London says, "If you are still interested." Siri Macallan says, "I've got your app on file, Remi, so I'll assume you're still interested." Remi MacGregor nods to Siri Macallan. Ashley London says, "I have host applications from back to forever, so I won't be writing to everyone who has applied." Ashley London says, "If you've applied before, just drop me a line if you still want an interview and I'll write back." Jennifer Plumley asks, "And you want it as an attached text file?" Meda Fyre asks, "Do you still want Host applications CC'd to Siri like the file in the library says?" Ashley London nods to Meda Fyre. Siri Macallan says, "If you've sent me an app before, but have updated info, such as a new address, or new coding skills ... or you think you're room description sucked and want to send a new one, feel free to update your app." Sarah Ninesling says, "What if the room we werein sucked" Hope Fontaine says, "Walk around the house." Siri Macallan says, "It's not what it looks like that counts." Siri Macallan pokes Sarah Ninesling in the ribs. Hope Fontaine says, "Or make sure it feels like you're feeling." Siri Macallan says, "It's how you write it." Sarah Ninesling says, "Well I really like my igloo cooler/ottoman" Jennifer Plumley asks, "You do want it as an attached file?" Siri Macallan says, "No, I'd prefer the apps pasted into an email." Siri Macallan says, "I got a virus once from an application." Jon Garfield says, "I'm guessing that one didn't get hired" Julia Lowery says, "Oh, yeah, sorry about that Siri. Hope your PC recovered." Siri Macallan pokes Julia Lowery in the ribs. Siri Macallan says, "Troublemaker." Trevor Rage chuckles. Jennifer Plumley says, "Okay, then the Host app needs updated..." Jennifer Plumley grins. Siri Macallan says, "Both Host and AGM apps can be had by either dropping me an email at MO-Siri@play.net or by getting them from the Modus library on the website." Kevin Oglvie asks, "If we had already attached it, should we resend a pasted copy?" Siri Macallan says, "Nah, yours was a text file." Siri Macallan asks, "Any other questions about anything related to either Hosting or AGMing?" Trevor Rage says, "I have a suggestion to make." Siri squints at Trevor. Eve Roquelaure pats her shotgun. Matt Browne says, "red alert" Trevor Rage says, "If you are thinking about becoming an AGM, put some serious thought into what you'd like to do, while on staff. What you'd like to accomplish. Some goals for yourself. It will help you and help us, in the whole 'should I apply/should we hire you?' process." Siri Macallan says, "Because I ask." Ceit Galbraith chuckles. Ceit Galbraith says, "She sure does." Siri Macallan says, "And if you say "uuuuhhhhhh ... ," I worry." Ceit Galbraith says, "I still have flashbacks." Hope Fontaine blushes a nice shade of off-pink. Trevor Rage grins at Ceit Galbraith. Miranda Myles asks, "Trevor, should we also include where we want to be in five years?" Trevor Rage just tickled Miranda Myles. Julia Lowery snickers at Miranda Myles. Trevor Rage says, "Maybe not think -that- far ahead, but it never hurts." Miranda Myles nods. Siri Macallan says, "That's a "Well, I think that's all I have for now! Thanks so much, bye bye ... ta ... so long!"" Trevor Rage grins. Liz Larson says, "if you're like most of us, you'll still be here in five years" Courtney Chisolm says, "The best answer I ever gave to that question was that I wanted to have my interviewer's job in five years." Courtney Chisolm chuckles. Siri Macallan says, "Most of the staff don't want my job." Ceit Galbraith snickers. Siri Macallan says, "I've offered." Silvie Rivard agrees with Siri Macallan. Jackson Shepard chuckles. Trevor Rage chuckles. Jon Garfield asks, "Offered or threatened?" Jon Garfield chuckles. Trevor Rage begins laughing at Jon Garfield! Siri Macallan says, "Last call for questions." Mark Grant asks, "ummm Budweiser?" Mark Grant glances at Siri Macallan. Rick Mitchell says, "Tequila...oh wait...you said questions." Thet Mes asks, "If we think of questions later, or if we need guidance in certain areas, I presume your e-mail is open?" Siri Macallan says, "We do have a bar in the staff meeting room." Julia Lowery puts her snow-cone in her navy canvas backpack. Julia Lowery gets a Black Widow Cider from inside her navy canvas backpack. Julia Lowery glances around. Trevor Rage says, "And our own blackjack table." Trevor Rage rubs his hands together. Remi MacGregor asks, "Private fishing hole?" Eve Roquelaure says, "And free munchies." Ceit Galbraith grins. Matt Browne asks, "1500 lb swordfish every time?" Siri Macallan says, "Yeah, feel free to drop me an email if you have any questions, as per the usual." Ceit Galbraith says, "That's my office" Ceit Galbraith nods to Remi MacGregor. Trevor Rage says, "Ceit can hook us up with some fish." Trevor Rage chuckles. Courtney Chisolm asks, "So why do I find hosts raiding the TIC fridge?" Julia Lowery blushes profusely as Courtney Chisolm's eye catches hers. Jackson Shepard says, "I know that at least a couple of people here sent in Mentor Applications. You should have all heard from me today on some level in a return e-mail." Julia Lowery says, "You guys have way better stuff." Siri Macallan says, "Because the TIC fridge has good goodies." Courtney Chisolm agrees with Siri Macallan. Siri Macallan says, "They just have an irritating parrot." Eve Roquelaure says, "Heck, I have a bar in my office." Julia Lowery exclaims, "It's a MACAW!" Eve Roquelaure begins laughing at Julia Lowery! Jackson Shepard says, "If you didn't, your e-mail ghosted or I made a mistake. Either way, feel free to send again." Siri Macallan says, "Yeah, yeah, Julia." Siri Macallan pats Julia on the back. Thet Mes says, "Wow, she does raid the fridge a lot.." Thet Mes glances at Julia Lowery. Trevor Rage says, "I've got a clerk from some shop I ran and crates of stuff I sold at it, in my office. Tells you how fun I am." Trevor Rage chuckles. Julia Lowery asks, "Are you trying to suggest something?" Julia Lowery glances at Thet Mes. Siri Macallan says, "Um ... I have tea." Siri Macallan says, "And brownies." Siri Macallan furrows her brow. Courtney Chisolm grins. Jon's mechanical macaw suddenly comes to life, flaps its wings and moves its tail. Eve Roquelaure says, "Tea." Eve Roquelaure nods. Allison McGuire chuckles. Siri Macallan says, "And dead bodies on the floor." Matt Browne says, "careful eating those things when I'm around" Matt Browne cowers away from Siri Macallan! Trevor Rage begins laughing at Siri Macallan! Reese Broselle says, "I have a dead body on my floor too." Siri Macallan says, "We are a mystery game." Hope Fontaine says, "My office is sounding dull." Remi MacGregor asks, "Is that a requirement, to have a dead body?" Ceit Galbraith gets a distant look on her face as she ponders. Ashley London says, "I have a dead ex-husband on mine." Siri Macallan says, "Sort of comes with the territory." Sarah Ninesling says, "Dead bodies poodles AND sno cones! This job is getting better and better" Siri Macallan begins laughing at Ashley London! Hamilton Nash asks, "One shouldnt make a habit on your brownues, then?" Trevor Rage begins laughing at Ashley London! Ashley London says, "New addition." Hamilton peers quizzically at Siri. Hope Fontaine begins chuckling at Hamilton Nash. Siri Macallan says, "The brownies are good." Siri Macallan grins. Miranda Myles says, "Hope, Fifi isn't anything to wish for." Ashley London grins. Allison McGuire says, "One has to wonder if they are the cause of the dead bodies, though." Hamilton Nash says, "quite" Ceit Galbraith says, "Okay, time for me to snooze. I do sleep, unlike some of these insomniacs." Ceit Galbraith grins. Ceit Galbraith waves. Siri Macallan grins at Ceit Galbraith. Siri Macallan waves. Ceit Galbraith slips quietly into the shadows. Rick Mitchell ponders the Fifi, brownie, body connection. Ashley London says, "Just don't ponder the Fifi sno-cone connection" A look of pain crosses Siri Macallan's face. Siri Macallan pokes Ashley London in the ribs. Courtney Chisolm asks, "Something about dyed poodles, eh?" Siri Macallan says, "The host staff is marginally warped." *
