(Gwen Manson turns off the lights, falling asleep.)
(Gwen Manson snores softly, until suddenly BRIIIIIIIING, her alarm goes
 off.)
Gwen Manson sits down.
(Gwen Manson thwacks her alarm, glaring at the time.)
Gwen Manson glances at a gleaming platinum cuff watch with a black face and
 a single diamond at the twelve o'clock position.
Gwen Manson sighs.
Geri Morgan stands back up.

In a spell-binding voice, Gwen Manson sings:

    "Six o'clock already
     I was just in the middle of a dream
     I was kissin' Valentino
     By a crystal blue Italian stream
     But I can't be late
     'Cause then I guess I just won't get paid
     These are the days
     When you wish your bed was already made"

Gwen Manson stands back up.
(Gwen Manson begins to make her bed up, yawning constantly, attempting to
 wake up.)
Gwen Manson removes her silk pajamas.
Gwen Manson takes a pair of fuzzy silver-grey slippers with great white
 sharks on the front off her feet.
Geri Morgan just went out.
Gwen Manson puts her slippers in her camoflauge bag.
Gwen Manson gets a pair of spiked-heel pumps from inside her camoflauge bag.

     Got to be at work by nine
     And if I had an air-o-plane
     I still couldn't make it on time"

(Gwen Manson glances at her shoes, sighing and tossing them across the room,
 deciding to go with the sandals instead.)

     Why did my lover have to pick last night?

(Gwen Manson glances at her still-asleep lover with an envious stare,
 finally grumbling "but its just another manic monday")

Katt Blade drops a stuffed grey dog named Barnabas.
(Katt Blade flips her hair with a very serious look on her face.)
Lauren Beth throws a rubber snake at a stuffed grey dog named Barnabas
 and...
...misses!

    "He's a cold-hearted snake"

In a spell-binding voice, Katt Blade sings:

(Summer Matthews appears in the middle of a bedroom, sitting on the bed.)
(Summer Matthews glances sadly around the room, staring into every corner.)
Summer Matthews seems sad.
(Summer Matthews picks up a picture of her former lover and the music slowly
 begins to play.)
(Summer Matthews holds the picture in her hands, then slowly stares at her
 reflection in the mirror.)
(Summer Matthews holds the picture up next to her face in the mirror as she
 flashes back to a phone call from the day before.)

Summer Matthews sings sweetly:

    "You called yesterday
     To basically say
     That you care for me but
     That you're just not in love"

(Summer Matthews stares sadly at the phone on her nightstand and fights back
 tears.)

Summer Matthews sings sweetly:

    "Immediately I pretended to be
     Feeling similarly
     And led you to believe I was
     Ok to just
     Walk away from the
     One thing that's unyielding and scared to me"

(Summer Matthews puts the picture back down on the dresser and walks over to
 the bed, flopping down on it.)
Summer Matthews seems forlorn.

Summer Matthews sings sweetly:

     Nonchalant about it
     And I'm going to extremes
     To prove I'm fine without you"

Summer Matthews smiles a forced smile, attempting to look like she is okay,
 as her roommate comes into her bedroom. Her roommate borrows a dress and
 leaves the room. As soon as she is gone, Summer is back to her sad
 solitude.

Summer Matthews sings sweetly:

    "But in reality I'm slowly losing my mind
     Underneath the guise of smile gradually I'm dying inside"

(Summer Matthews turns over so that she is lying on her side on the bed.)

Summer Matthews sings sweetly:

    "Friends ask me how I feel and I lie convincingly
     Cause I don't want to reveal the fact that I'm suffering
     So I wear my disguise
      til I go home at night
     And turn down all the lights and then I break down and cry"

(Summer Matthews sits up and draws her knees up to her chin.)

    "So what do you do when somebody you're devoted to
     Suddenly stops loving you
     And it seems they haven't got a clue
     Of the pain that rejection is putting you through"


Summer Matthews sings sweetly:

(Summer Matthews rises off the bed and stands in the middle of the room.)

(Summer Matthews suddenly runs to the closet and begins throwing out
 anything that belonged to *him*.)

Summer Matthews sings sweetly:

(Summer Matthews hangs up the phone and begins to tear his pictures down off
 her walls.)

    "So I wear my disguise 'til I go home at night
     And turn down all the lights and then I break down and cry"

(Summer Matthews lies on the floor, clutching her head between her hands and
 crying.  She sits up, tears streaming down her face and stares blankly.)
Summer Matthews lies down.
Summer Matthews begins to weep softly.
Summer Matthews stares blankly into the distance.
Summer Matthews sighs.
Summer Matthews sits down.
(Summer Matthews stands up as she realizes that it is all in vain, he is
 never coming back.)
Summer Matthews stands back up.

Summer Matthews sings sweetly:

Cecilia Scully stands up to address the assembly.

Cecilia Scully recites:

    "Before I start, I want to dedicate this to my friends: Bri, Syd, Matt,
 Lauren, Mad, Ang, and Cel. I love you guys and I would also like to
 dedicate it to Nina whose not here in body, but is in heart"

(Cecilia Scully curls up in a large armchair. She grabs a picture off of a
 table. She stares at it for a couple minutes.)
Cecilia Scully smiles.

Cecilia Scully sings beautifully:

    "I have a smile
     Stretched from ear to ear
     I see you walking down the road
     We meet at the lights
     I stare for awhile
     The world around us disappears"

(Cecilia Scully is suddenly outside on a sunny day. She's sitting by a lake
 with a handsome guy. They're sitting and laughing, eating and talking. She
 seems so happy.)

Cecilia Scully sings beautifully:

    "It's just you and me
     On my island of hope
     A breath between us could be miles
     Let me surround you
     A sea to your shore
     Let me be the calm you seek"

(Cecilia Scully suddenly starts to look nervous, like she doesn't know what
 to say or do. She starts to fidget and the world around her starts to fade
 away....)
Cecilia Scully seems nervous.

Cecilia Scully sings beautifully:

    "But everytime I'm close to you
     There's too much I can't say
     And you just walk away"

(Cecilia Scully is suddenly all alone again, sitting in the armchair and
 hugging the picture. A single tear rolls down her cheek.)

Cecilia Scully sings beautifully:

    "And I forgot

     I love you
     And night's too long And cold here
     Without you"

Cecilia Scully shivers.
(Cecilia Scully wraps her sweatshirt around her in a vain attempt to warm
 her soul.)

Cecilia Scully sings beautifully:

    "I grieve in my condition
     For I cannot find the words to say
     I need you so"

(Cecilia Scully stands up and walks around aimlessly, and finally settles
 down in the kitchen with some cookies and milk.)

Cecilia Scully sings beautifully:

    "And everytime I'm close to you
     There's too much I can't say
     And you just walk away"

(Cecilia Scully finishes off the cookies and milk, and then just sits there,
 thinking.)

Cecilia Scully sings beautifully:

    "And I forgot
     To tell you
     I love you
     And the night's too long
     And cold here
     Without you"

(Cecilia Scully walks up to the phone, her hand reaching for it, but then
 she suddenly snaps it back. She collapses onto the floor and starts crying,
 because she doesn't know why she's acting this way.)

Cecilia Scully sings beautifully:

    "I grieve in my condition
     For I cannot find the words to say
     I need you so"

(Cecilia Scully gets up and reaches for the phone. She picks it up, dials a
 number, and finally says what she needs to say, "I love you.")
Cecilia Scully says, "And I forgot to mention Katt's name before, my bad.
 Katty I love you."
Cecilia Scully bows.

Ashley London exclaims, "Next up is Angela Bond!"

Angela Bond stands up to address the assembly.

Angela Bond exclaims, "I'm doing a song with Madeline Avenue!"

Madeline Avenue stands up to address the assembly.

Angela Bond smiles.
Angela Bond says, "Mad, face it.  You'll never make it as a singer! 
 Besides, to be honest...you seem slightly off key."
Madeline Avenue shakes her head.
Madeline Avenue sighs.
Angela Bond says, "Fine.  But I think you should stop dreaming and set
 yourself a *real* goal.""
(Angela Bond sits down on the side of the stage, shaking her head.)
Madeline Avenue gazes off into the distance.

Slightly off-key, Madeline Avenue sings:

    "I gotta move, nothing can hurt me
     When I'm in the griff of the groove
     Everyone's taught me to follow my star"

Madeline Avenue shrugs.
Angela Bond snickers.

Slightly off-key, Madeline Avenue sings:

     Playing my one man symphony"

Madeline Avenue seems to be in a dreamy mood.
(Madeline Avenue makes a fist as she pulls her elbow back, sliding a few
 steps forward and into the spotlight.)
Madeline Avenue smiles confidently.

     Maybe I'll find out I just don't belong"

Madeline Avenue shrugs.

Angela Bond sings:

(Madeline Avenue throws her hands up in the air, out of breath.)

     Crazy, the scene's too rough

(Madeline Avenue leaps into the light, ignoring Angela, too into her own
 music to notice her friend's doubt.)

Crimson Beauregarde says, "Okay, I feel you're enthusiasm in spirit."
Crimson Beauregarde snickers.
Crimson Beauregarde says, "I'll be doing a sorta dramatized version of a
 Jewel song. Ya ya ya, I know she's kinda old. But this is my first time in
 Kareoke, and I didn't have time to prepare. At first I was gonna do a
 village people song but..."
Crimson Beauregarde glances at some tight leather pants.
Crimson Beauregarde says, "I didn't feel to inspired."
Crimson Beauregarde says, "You'll have to excuse my lack of props, but if
 you have any type of imagination, you'll play along."

September Powers smiles and closes her eyes momentarily as Marius looks to
 the skies above.

September Powers coughs.
September Powers smiles as she stares even deeper into his eyes.

September Powers smiles as Marius pulls her closer.

September Powers smiles . She's so much weaker now, it's only a matter of
 time.

September Powers smiles . She jumps for a second, he pulls her even closer,
 her head now looks over his shoulder.

     Marius sings in counterpoint:
      I will stay with you till you are sleeping"

September Powers smiles weakly as she begins to fall back into his arms
 slowly.

September Powers smiles serenly as she falls back into his arms closing her
 eyes for all eternity. She is dead.

 and kisses her on the top of her head then he lays her down. A single tear
 rolls down his cheek.
