 out a lot of the movements in the room. The tour of the house is pretty basice. So I
 was wondering if anyone else had any notes on it? I'd like to see more!

 Jackson Shepard says, "What we are going to discuss tonight is the Mentor System
 that will soon be coming to our fair island."

 Jackson Shepard says, "If you will all settle, I think we are ready to begin."

 Jackson Shepard says, "I am going to say a few words about the new system and then
 we will open things up for Q&A."

 Jackson Shepard says, "Please hold your questions until then."

 Jackson Shepard says, "Thanks again for your interest and the applications and
 application requests I have recieved in the last week."

 Jackson Shepard says, "As some of you know, Mentors already exist in other
 Simutrtonics games."

 Jackson Shepard says, "Mentors are basically a group of players that serve to
 inhance RP and teach newcomers to the various games."

 Jackson Shepard says, "They are not employees of Simutronics and they are required
 to operate totally IC at all times, except in the new OOC area of course."

 Jackson Shepard says, "One of the reasons we have the new OOC area, The Reality
 Cafe', is to keep pure RPers from being bombarded by OOCness as much."

 Jackson Shepard says, "Especially in such areas like The Pub, where quite often a
 newcomer will meet his first fellow tourist."

 Jackson Shepard says, "Mentors will help to show the newcomers that this is indeed a
 RPing game and not just a chat room."

 Jackson Shepard says, "Mentors will be referred to as Island Guides."

 Jackson Shepard says, "New Island Guides will be referred to as Island Guide
 Trainees and will require a training period to become "full" Island Guides."

 Jackson Shepard says, "The training period is a probation period to make sure the
 person is indeed capable of handling the requirements and responsibilities of being
 an Island Guide."

 Jackson Shepard says, "Being an Island Guide is not a full time job, however."

 Jackson Shepard says, "Guides are volunteers that help when they can. The minimum
 amount of time they must serve will be ten hours a month."

 Jackson Shepard says, "While they are on the clock, they will be recognizable with a
 badge."

 Jackson Shepard says, "Guides get nothing for free, they do not get paid. They do
 not get exclusive merchants, etc."

 Jackson Shepard says, "The badge is only to allow newcomers to see that the person
 helping them has been trained to do so."

 Jackson Shepard says, "As we mentioned earlier, Guides will have a Headquarters to
 work from."

 Jackson Shepard says, "This is only a cottage to allow those in need to find help
 more easily as you will see later."

 Jackson Shepard says, "It is not a locker storage area, or any other type of
 "special" area. It only gives newcomers an easy place to find aid."

 Armand Chascour says, "ah, are guides gonna hafta go into combat areas? because if
 so I suggest some Island Guide BP"

 Jackson Shepard says, "Required no, if your specialty is being a teacher. I would
 expect you to help teach, not help newcomers to hunt."

 Jackson Shepard asks, "Anything else Armand?"

 Armand Chascour says, "ah"

 Armand Chascour asks, "are those events we think up, or is Trevor going to send us
 out to pay for his ideas?"

 Jackson Shepard says, "They will be handled like you would any other event, be it a
 Class Reunion or a 50th wedding anniversary. It will just be more island vacation
 oriented."

 cost, and go from there."

 Ceit Galbraith says, "By paying, Jackson meant that there is a mentor fund, a bank
 account. The donations that others provide are the funds mentors can use toward
 events."

 level 10?"

 Jackson Shepard says, "The other games have a minimum level requiment that would
 compare to Level 15 here."

 Beckah Arnett says, "I know but some of the most qualfied people i know arent at
 that level"

 Jackson Shepard says, "We want to make sure our Mentors stick the the standard
 established in other games."

 monitored?"

 be the best RPer in the whole game, and contribute your hide off.. but some rules
 stay the same."

 Jackson Shepard says, "Training will be conducted mainly by "full" island guides and
 myself."

 different people who had different professions.."

 to become a guide. Is the training time flexible? Coroners are on call most of the
 time for emergencies and such, especially this really suave one I know who may be
 interested, but is available mainly in late evening."

 Matt Metus asks, "well, when you are a mentor, can you be promoted to GameMaster or
 GameHost, etc.?"

 [New Marina, Beach] The moonlight shines down on the pale sand that stretches out on
 both sides of you, and the water laps softly on the sand before rolling back out
 into the sea. The water shimmers in the moonlight, and the sound of the waves is
 loud in the otherwise quiet night. A small cottage, with a foundation of large
 rocks, is set back near the edge of the sand dune. You also see a door bell, a large
 donation slot in the side of the cottage and the front door. Obvious paths: west,
 up.

 Brian Indiana just rang the doorbell. A butler sticks his head out the door and has
 a word with Brian Indiana.

 Jackson Shepard says, "This is where islanders can donate items and cash for Guide
 sponsered events."

 Ami Stuart says, "bye bye Sasha's cool cottage"

 Jackson Shepard says, "This is the bell newcomers can ring for help."

 Armand Chascour asks, "does Jarvis hire out to tourist homes?"

 Jackson Shepard just rang the doorbell. Jarvis the butler leans out the door,
 glances at Jackson Shepard nervously and exclaims, "Oh my, why are YOU here? I hope
 this doesn't mean you are going to fire me!"

 Jackson Shepard says, "Now Jarvis, I just hired you. Don't be so nervous."

 Assistant GameMaster Jackson Shepard's group went through the front door.
 [Johnston Tourist Information Center, Lounge] Overstuffed couches and big
 comfortable chairs are scattered throughout the room. Moonlight spills through an
 open window. Tropical night air fills the room. A tall bookshelf stands in a corner,
 holding some knick-knacks and some old leather books. Tracked-in sand is thick near
 the front doorway, and spreads out over the rug. You also see a large pillow, an
 archway leading to a meeting room, an iron spiral staircase leading up to the loft
 and a pine door.

 Obvious exits: east, west, out.

 GameMaster and Infernal Troublemaker Supreme Trevor Rage just arrived.

 GameMaster Ceit Galbraith's group just arrived.

 Remi MacGregor asks, "Who's Johnston?"

 Jackson Shepard says, "This small cottage will serve as a place for Guides to help
 newcomers."

 allow for quiet conversation. Soothing prints hang on the walls. A ceiling fan
 provides constant motion to the otherwise still air. The occasional burst of
 laughter can be heard from another room. You also see a small table with a reading
 lamp on it and a trophy case. Obvious exits: west.

 look case Crafted from sturdy North American oak and plate glass, the trophy case is
 roughly six feet tall. It has four shelves, each holding trophies dedicated to the
 tourists who have distinguished themselves on Morada.

 [Johnston Tourist Information Center, Lounge] Overstuffed couches and big
 comfortable chairs are scattered throughout the room. Moonlight spills through an
 open window. Tropical night air fills the room. A tall bookshelf stands in a corner,
 holding some knick-knacks and some old leather books. Tracked-in sand is thick near
 the front doorway, and spreads out over the rug. You also see a large pillow, an
 archway leading to a meeting room, an iron spiral staircase leading up to the loft
 and a pine door. Assistant GameMaster Jackson Shepard's group just went west.

 [Johnston Tourist Information Center, Kitchen] The large kitchen has shiny, clean,
 blonde wood counters and a new lineoleum floor. The ivy stenciling on the walls
 appears black in the darkness. Light from the windows casts pale rectangles on the
 floor and on the surface of the table in the corner. Wooden cabinets are mounted on
 the walls above the countertops, with matching drawers and cupboards sitting
 underneath. You also see a trash compactor with a green button on it and a white
 refrigerator with a whiteboard on it. Obvious exits: east.

 Jon Garfield says, "Hey, I gave you a good segue without even trying to"

 Bryan Hit pushes a green button and the trash compactor makes a loud grinding sound
 as it smashes the contents to bits.
