 for non-violent activities."
Peggysue Wilshire says, "Our current system of non-combat noto pretty much
 revolves around finding and accusing non-violent perps."
Peggysue Wilshire says, "Something that I personally see as a problem with
 this system is that the process of finding and accusing the perp is the
 same regardless of your character's profession and skills."
Peggysue Wilshire asks, "As a result it can get rather repetitive and, dare
 I say, boring?"
Peggysue Wilshire looks around nervously for lightning bolts.
Peggysue Wilshire exclaims, "Well, perhaps not as boring as running
 errands!"

Peggysue Wilshire says, "We also have the tutorial and the maze to provide
 one-time boosts to your noto."
Peggysue Wilshire says, "Over the past year or so, the GM staff has added
 some new features for the non-combat-oriented players."
Peggysue Wilshire says, "The French Quarter has non-violent perps which are
 more difficult to catch."
Peggysue Wilshire says, "The Jungle also has difficult non-violent perps,
 and they're mixed in with violent perps."
Peggysue Wilshire says, "You can donate money to certain worthy causes."
Peggysue Wilshire says, "The revolving mysteries have been brought back, and
 each can give you a one-time noto boost when you solve it."
Peggysue Wilshire says, "Academians and Secret Agents, level 5 and above,
 are able to teach."
Peggysue Wilshire says, "We are working on professional abilities for the
 other professions."
Peggysue Wilshire exclaims, "Oops, almost forgot!"

 about a ropes course/climbing wall or other maze type activities? Perhaps
 certain professions would get more noto than others in these kinds of

 accuse, and heal."
Joy Nalewi says, "Their services are vital to all the hunters, and they
 should be rewarded."

Angela Bond asks, "Hiya, I know this sounds somewhat ridiculous but I think
 having a few certain verbs that you keep working on to perfect them, each
 time you get a few notoriety points; when that verb is perfected the person
 can get something like 7 or 10 notoriety points each time they perform it.
 Also, for people who would like to deliver but think its too 'newbie', why
 not have an advanced delivery system for players above level 3, who deliver 
 to all parts in Morada and that gives more notoriety?"

Xenia Wilson says, "My first comment is that I rather liked Julie McCoy's
 idea about additional one-time things.  I would add to it new rotating
 mysteries.  My second comment is that I think there should be a way to
 raise individual skills.  I think Julie touched on a way to do it with the
 classes; I'd also suggest actually USING specific skills.  Possibly in the
 rotating mysteries, or to make and sell stuff in a merchant-like fashion. 
 Not that complex of course, but on that line."

Jade Rose says, "My idea was inspired partially by Jason's. Maybe we can set
 up some sort of thing where you can volunteer at the ER or something and
 heal people. Not necessarily for real people, but for NPCs maybe. You could
 use your first aid skills and surgery skills for it. Also, none of the
 professions would be at a disadvantage due to lack of physique or anything
 else."
Peggysue Wilshire asks, "Would you expect that Coroners might have an edge
 there?"
Jade Rose says, "A little bit, but none others would have it be a
 challenge."
Jade Rose says, "In other words, some might be better with it, but none
 would be struggling, as Academians do with hunting."
Jade Rose says, "And also, women and men would be equally matched."
Jade Rose says, "It would mostly be based upon your skill."

 idea is kind of like Xavier's. But we could apprentice and then be hired at
 someplace after passing apprenticehood, and work for money or noto."

Leila Meridian says, "Well, like he said, you apprentice someplace, like the
 jewelry store."

 rewarded for it ... as a learner coroner, it was very disheartening to be
 hunting and able to heal, but because I practically never hit anyone, I
 didn't get noto or cash."

 ... I know you're working on things for each profession, but it's been a

Armand Chascour says, "I like all the ideas so far...healing certainly, also
 the "harvesting" type jobs...noto and $ for herbs, fish, exotic plants,
 maybe pan for gold in jungle streams: these could be skill based and earn
 more noto and $. And I like employment, maybe have lots of little jobs like
 washing dishes, sweep floors, work a west end assembly line, shelving
 books...those would earn some noto and $ but not as much as the skill-based
 ones."

Matthew Broderick says, "I'd first like to say something about the
 mysteries.  I love the whole thing of revolving mysteries...but I thrive on
 challenges, and I don't mean to be rude...but these revolving mysteries
 weren't that hard...and I know they're more for newbies...but I'd rather
 see a mystery that gets you to the point where you say, 'I give up..thats
 it'...but yet you can't because you've come so far...so when you do
 complete the mystery, you get that great feeling of accomplishment and that
 nice bundle of noto...instead of solving some much simpler mystery where
 all you do is yawn after completing it and getting a tap of noto...I'd also
 like to say something about Angela's idea of advanced delivery system...I
 whole-heartedly agree with that...I think it would be better if you had to
 somewhat find the person to deliver the package too...but have some clues
 to give you a boost...so when you do find the recipient...you get a nice
 bundle of noto...and another package which starts a whole new
 mystery/delivery..."

 you guys--the GM's--have to constantly be creating new ones....since it
 will take a good while before the few released are completed..."
Matthew Broderick says, " That's why I would say create like a dozen awesome
 and very very very challenging mysteries..and release like 1 every 2
 weeks...maybe 2...and just slowly create new ones along the way."

 been touched on, and is for a new profession -- that of craftsman. 
 Depending on skills and crafts chosen, we could make and sell our items."
Jerusha Chapman says, "The quality would be reflected in our skills, and
 we'd get notoriety for finding the materials and successfully creating the
 item."
Jerusha Chapman says, "Not to mention cash for selling it."

 animals thorugh the jungle.  Sort of like bird watching.  The longer you
 track, the greater your notoriety gain."

 to, say, deliver items"

 thing to the office, and they'd have to go around the island collecting
 what they needed to put it together"

Marissa Tenchavez says, "Hi everyone. I don't want to waste any of your
 time, so I'm going to make this as quick as I can. Everyone here has some
 interesting ideas here, and most of them are great. I have noticed,
 however, that some involve hunting, and the point of this, I think, is for
 those that are either sick of hunting, or don't like to hunt at all. I have
 noticed that certain professions have certain things they can do, and I
 think you should build on that. I don't know how, but make it so that all
 professions can do a certain thing to raise noto. I also believe that there
 are so many skills we have to raise that have not been used yet. Jess is
 right. Look at the fishing. Joe might need some help buying that stuff, and
 we're the ones to do it. Also, the Excellent Year. They need help making
 stuff, and again, we can do that. It will give us a little noto and a
 little money. Why not make it so that they all have a certain purpose to
 help us raise our noto."
Marissa Tenchavez says, "Also, maybe we could make some place where we can
 cook for the needy, or help in some way with that. Make a homeless shelter
 somewhere and be able to donate clothes for noto, cook for them, use kits
 to mend them. Something along those lines. I also do agree that we need
 more mysteries. Harder ones that give you more noto. That's what this
 island is about. Mystery, Fun, and Adventure. That's what we need more of,
 and I think that adding new things will do us good. Out with the old, in
 with the new, as they say. Adding to that, it would be great if we could
 get noto by creating new mysteries. "

 Karaoke as well. Those who have developed the arts skills can benefit from
 that. My expert skills are the arts like music, dancing, and singing,
 highly skilled ar the combat skills so to have something to build noto
 other than hunting, and be able to do it in something I am expert at would
 be great. Also, I think Sleuths should also be able to teach, but in the
 skills they are expert or highly skilled in."

 much as far as gaining noto other than hunting"

 A possible mean of use of a skill is to solicit business.  I mentioned
 merchant-like manufacture and sale of things."

 for display.  Gigi would give a certain amount of money and noto for such
 things.  Or a home-owner like Gina could buy some of the art for a personal
 collection."

 really really really great if next to each skill we could have some form of
 ratio comparison to the rest of the people on morada..maybe something
 simple as a percent...as to where the percent means that is how much better
 you are in that skill compared to the rest of the people of Morada...or
 some word/phrases such as expert, professional, and then like pauper,
 pointless, etc.  Just basically some form of comparison to the rest of the
 people, because I think we'd all like to know where we stand compared to
 the rest of the people of Morada."

 student work in a study center or something and get pay for it.  I also
 think that because this island is getting littered up, especially in the
 jungle, we could get a small amount of noto for throwing our trash in the
 dumpster and not on the ground."
