Dear Author,

These books are basically like the Anthologies we publish.  The guidelines are published below.  We will accept FIVE to SEVEN authors per book.  Each author will receive a contract-to-publish.  To have these books published, we require each author to order the minimum of 5 books.($100.00)  The author’s name will be on the front cover.
GUIDELINES FOR SHORT STORIES
   MANUSCRIPT SUBMISSION
Subject matter is unrestricted.  (Only one manuscript permitted.)
The short story must be seven to ten pages long.
One clean photo-copy of the manuscript must be submitted.  Originals not accepted.
The manuscript must be double spaced and be typed on one side of the paper.
Authors must submit a biographical statement suitable for inclusion in the book.  Do not send a resume.  It cannot be more than 30 lines long and must  be double spaced.
The Anthology of Short Stories will be typeset and durably bound in varnished and laminated book stock suitable for both library and personal use.
Editorial decision takes about thirty days from time of submission.  If accepted, publication time is about sixty days from receipt of the signed contract.
A contract-to-publish will be sent and the author has sixty days to fulfill the required subvention of payment, balance due in full upon return of the contract signing and galley proofs.(Payment must be paid in full before any books are sent out.)
The Short Stories are under international copyright owned exclusively by the author.  All titles carry an International Standard Book Number and a Library of Congress Card Catalogue Number.
There will be no Royalties for this book.
There will be about 100 copies printed. (More or less depending on the orders.)  No reprints.
