Welcome to our home on the web!  We are a group of riders in the Louisville Kentucky area who say, "Viva Recumbency!"  For those of you new to the idea, Recumbency is the belief that there is NO BETTER WAY to ride a bicycle than feet first!
In other words, we prefer to "Get Bent!"
(okay, so we like to shorten the term "recumbent" to "bent."
Is that such a bad thing?)
Come see what we mean...

Summertime, and the pedaling's easy!  It's been too long since the last update, but maybe I'll do better over the coming months.

The resolution isn't good enough to see whether this is a man or a woman, but you can bet that this rider is smiling!  Who wouldn't be, riding a bike that is TRULY comfortable, and WITHOUT the need for those funny-looking padded shorts?  Image borrowed from the NBG recumbents site.

The hit counter finally quit working recently.  I hadn't looked in a while, so I don't know how many hits it had recorded.  The server that recorded hits used to send me a periodic report, but that hadn't happened in a year or more.  I'm a little bummed, but I'll get over it.

Okay, it's my web site.  There, I've said it.  Sure, I do this for the recumbent group, but try as I may, I don't seem to get many other offers for material.  Since it's my "baby," I'll use some of the space to show off my fast bike.  Click on the head badge below for pictures of the fastest bike I've ever owned.  This is one of the bikes pictured in the Courier-Journal article.

I'd love to have more pictures to add in various places on this site.  I'd even be happy to add links to pictures you have online, if they are recumbent-oriented.
