League of American Bicyclists' Rally

In June of 1999, the Louisville Bicycle Club was host for the LAB National Rally.  We were invited to present a session on recumbent bikes, and these photographs were taken during that session.  Here are some of the nice folks that came to listen and see our bikes.

Here's Tom (yep, that's me, your humble website editor) talking about his favorite subject, real (read: recumbent) bikes.  Topics discussed included advantages and disadvantages (as if) of recumbents compared to conventional bikes, transporting issues, and where to buy bents.  It was a shame that we didn't get to have test-rides for the attendees.
