Assorted Pictures Here I have gathered an assortment of pictures from various rides we've done as a group. Most of our group rides draw four, or six, or eight riders. Every once in a while, we get a crowd, like one Sunday ride during the summer of 2002, when fourteen riders came for the fun. Larry Preble often takes group shots when he's on a ride, and provided this one. The panoramic nature of the shot makes for a tiny thumbnail shot, but the larger image is worth a look. Another group ride that drew a crowd was on October 13th. Several of us eventually went to hear Joe Ward discuss his then-new book, Wheeling around Louisville, but not before posing for these pictures, one of which is showing some of us enjoying our favorite hobby--eating! Some of us ride with the Louisville Bicycle Club, too. An even smaller group of us like to ride centuries (100 miles in one day) with the "LBC." Again, this picture comes from Larry's files, from a day when he and I met some folks in Boston, Kentucky for a ride out to Munfordville and back. The smallest dog joined us as we returned to the parking lot. This was my first century ride on the new bike, and I took the opportunity to more than double the mileage on my cyclecomputer that day!
