COMMITMENT

All geese will do what they should do.
To God's design they remain true.
When they do mate, it is for life,
Through thick and thin and stress and strife.

You never see them fuss or fight.
Most times together when in flight.
Cooperation, their key word.
Abusing phrases, never heard.

With their small ones, there's no neglect
Treating their young with much respect.
Protecting the nest with their very lives,
Insuring each tiny gosling survives.

Hatching eggs, they would never kill.
The chicks, to mothers, such a thrill!
To hurt their babies, they'd never choose--
There's never any child abuse!

Obedience learned--they're not slow.
Behind their mother in a row
They feel so safe when she is there;
To them there's not a single care!

Now, we could learn some things from them
And not just how to fly or swim,
But how to be a family
And make commitments willingly!

An impact on the human race,
The world would be a better place,
If parents do what we should do
And to His design remain true!
