DIRECTION When do geese learn how to migrate? Know when it's time to congregate? When's the best season, eggs, to hatch? How to make a nest out of thatch? How come they know when Fall sets in, To fly down south until it ends? How do they know which way is south? Or who will feed their hungry mouth? How can they fly day after day . . . Know each place to stop on the way? And where is destination's end? How do they soar and use the wind? How come they know it's winter's end? Someone to them, a message send? Who points them in north direction? Who thought up the 'V' formation? They all must be so smart, indeed, To understand their every need Will be provided with no doubt, And not one dime will they be out! Waterfowl live innocently They just do what comes naturally Why should they worry, fret or care With God's provisions always there! Would you say it's coincidence? Or would you call it common sense? In case you're stumped or slow or stalled, Divine direction is what it's called! November 20, 1996 BACK |
