Reflections from conversations with Laurie I have a smile upon my face today! If not for Him, I would not have it there! I know that He guides each and every step, And that my heavy burdens He will bear. I've been through quite a bit these past few months; Heartache and pain I've known about first hand. There's something that He's taught me, though, for sure; He'll always be my strength so I can stand! There are two hearts that beat inside of me. The one, my own, the other small and frail. No matter what the final outcome be, I know that His compassion will prevail. I do believe He wants the best for us, He knows the problem better than we do. Our faith in Him has never been as strong, In spite of all the things that we've been through! So I'll just trust Him daily for my needs. Control of things I'll place within His hands. He's never let me down, no, not one time, I thank Him for the way my faith withstands. He knows that difficulties make us strong; That through them we will look to Him and see, He knows just what is best for each of us... Just like this little life inside of me! October 17, 1997 BACK |
