I write of things that are special to me, I might tell of things in the past. They're things that have greatly influenced me, And things that, forever, will last! I write about special people Who've impacted, greatly, my life. They've loved me in spite of my weaknesses And brought me through heartaches and strife. I write for my own amusement. I might tell of facts you can't trace. But the greatest satisfaction for me? To just bring a smile to your face! So when you've finished reading my poem There may just be a slight grin.
