This all day seminar is appropriate for both health care professionals and family member caregivers. Approved for 7.2 contact hours for continuing education units by the American Nurses' Association credentialing division, and is accepted for 6 hours of continuing education by most non-nursing health care professionals.

The importance of fluids

Maintaining bowel and bladder functioning

Promoting sleep

Special oral hygiene problems

12:15-1:15 pm--Lunch

1:15-2:45 pm--Session Three

Maximizing physical functioning (continued)

Maintaining posture and alignment

Maintaining muscle tone and body conditioning

During routine activities

During recreational programs
