The long anticipated second volume of New Mexico Prenuptial Investigations From the Archivos Históricos del Arzobispado de Durango, Rick Hendricks, ed., John B. Colligan, compiler, is scheduled to be published by the Rio Grande Historical Collections, New Mexico State University Library and available for purchase in the early months of 2001.
The second volume will cover the years 1800-1893 with the majority of diligencias matrimoniales dating between 1800-1870 for New Mexico, including the area of El Paso del Norte. The book will be twice the length of volume one, which was 160 pages, and promises to be a very valuable genealogical research tool.
