(4) son, Cristóbal MARTÍN SERRANO was husband of Antonia MORAGA (pg 224). Cristóbal was not a son of María MONTAÑO, but her son-in-law, she being mother of Antonia MORAGA. Who his mother was is not stated. (pg 373).

(5) dau, Pascuala MARTÍN, married Diego DURÁN, Pascuala's mother was María MONTAÑO (pg 72). Pascuala's father was named as Hernándo Martín. Pascuala married Diego DURÁN in 1694, in Santa Fe (pg 224).

(6) son, Cristóbal MARTÍN SERRANO [II], married Juana de la CRUZ, Cristóbal's mother was Catalina GRIEGO (pg 72). Cristóbal MARTÍN [SERRANO] II, twenty when married to Juana de la CRUZ at Guadalupe del Paso in 1697 (1697 - 20 = 1677), this Cristóbal was born 1677, DM 1697, No5. Evidently he remained there with some of his mother's people, Juan Griego being a witness. His father was also named as Hernándo MARTÍN. (pg 224).

(6) child, living in Santa Fe, after 1693, not named, whose mother was Josefa de la Asención GONZÁLEZ (pg 72). There was Mateo [MARTÍN SERRANO], son of Josefa de la Asención GONZÁLEZ, and husband of Antonia MAESE (pg 224).

(7) child, living in Santa Fe, after 1693, not named, whose mother was Josefa de la Asención GONZÁLEZ (pg 72). There was Andres [MARTÍN SERRANO], son of Josefa de la Asención GONZÁLEZ, and husband of Lucía de TORRES (pg 224).

(8) dau, whose mother was Josefa de la Asención GONZÁLEZ, Tomása [MARTÍN SERRANO], first wife of Bernardino de SENA. Before she died, outliving her husband by many years, Josefa González lived with Vicar, Santiago Roybal. (2) married Quiteria GARCÍA de NORIEGA on 16 Aug 1734, in Alameda (pg 225).

(3) married María Dolores GALLEGOS on 15 Jul 1747; she brought suit against Eusebio de CHÁVES in 1765 for beating up her 57 year old husband, who was also Eusebio's father-in-law (pg 225).

Juan Francisco made his will in Embudo in 1767, naming his wife and eleven children: 1) Rosalia (dead), 2) Valentín, 3) Tomás (dead), 4) Tomás II (dead), 5) Juan Gabriel, 6) Margarita, 7) Miguel, 8) Rosalia, 9) Juan Bautista, 10) José, 11) Ana María (pg 223).

(3) María Luisa MARTÍN SERRANO [de SALAZAR], born 20 May 1729, in San Juan (pg 223).

·        in Santa Fe in 1698, in a few years moved to ancestral Rio Arriba (pg 223).

·        Alcalde of Santa Cruz in 1714 (pg 223).

·        legendary figure as an Indian campaigner (pg 223).

·        built a chapel in La Soledad, mentioned by father Domínguez in 1777 (pg 223).

·        vacated lands in Taos Valley in 1730, because they were too close to the Pueblo (pg 223).

·        sued Governor Bustamante for loss of crops and stock, suit proven false, he was fined for perjury and misrepresentation (pg 223).

·        dead by 1765, when his wife made her will (pg 224).

·        will probated, again, in 1772, with wife's will, about land in Taos Valley, Truchas, and Chamisal, wherein children and grandchildren are mentioned (pg 224).
