Just got this 1955 Guild X550. Binding needed some repair, done at Artinger Guitars. He did a great job, and now what a beautiful guitar!

Rear of X550. Nice flamey back and sides. Appears to be Gretsch strap button, but works well.

'61 Fender Super. This amp has what appears to be an all-original circuit with solid state rectifier instead of the normal tube rectifier. Maybe a one-off or custom order? There is a label attached to the rear plate that says "Kessel". As in Barney Kessel? Anybody know what he played in the early 60's?

Chassis shot of the '61 Super. You can see the s.s. rectifier in the top left, and note that there does not appear to have been a socket for a rectifier ever installed. You can barely see the blue Dymo (?) label that says "Kessel". I got this without speakers and put in a couple of Webers - a P10S and a C10Q. It sounds great, even with those original caps in there. There is a stamp in the bottom of the cab with the name of a music store in Arizona.

1976 Deluxe Reverb. Excellent condition, all original. Not master volume or pull boost. Sounds even better w/ a Weber P12N or old Jensen C12N.
