Guitars, Amps n' more

Recent addition: A ca. 1999 G&L ASAT Special in cool-man Gretsch orange w/ binding and MOTO pickguard. Even has a signed certificate from Leo's wife...

This Fender 5E3 Deluxe reproduction was built from a kit (and some help!) from Bruce at Mission Amps and cabinet from Clark Amps. It's loaded with a WeberVST P12N speaker.

This is a '66 Deluxe Reverb with the original speaker, currently replaced with a vintage Jensen C12N. A Weber P12N sounds great in a Deluxe Reverb, too. Thanks for the amp, Tom! Note the replaced back panels - there must be thousands of lost back panels looking for amps out there...

A 1961 Guild T100"D" and 1970 Guild Starfire III Special. Those Guild P90 style pickups on the T100D can't be beat - lots of twang!
The Starfire is a '70 special order with original DeArmond pickups, block markers and cool-looking Emerald Green finish (it looks black in the picture). This guitar has been played! Lots of wear on the fingerboard and the finish.

My story of the one that got away is the '66 Strat I had in high school and traded with a '68 SG on a '76 Gibson Explorer. I've always wanted it back, 'til I found this '65 which had been stripped (and who knows what else). I had it refinished and refretted by Lay's, and put a Callaham trem block and bridge plate in it. I'm not sure, but I don't think the pickups are original. The wood is, though. It's in front of my blackface Bassman that's in a combo cab with a reconed JBL D130F. I still have the Explorer...

This is a Bassman mountain - a '61 6G6 in a blonde/oxblood combo (since sold and gigging in Missouri), a January '64 in a blonde/wheat 2x10 combo (gotta re-think the Jensen ri's in there), and a '67 (converted to AB864 circuit) in a blackface 1x15 combo with a JBL D130 reconed by Ted Weber.
