    LIVE help for PI Members is available twice a week on irc.prodigy.net, where friendly member "volunteers" are waiting to help solve a problem, chat about PI, the internet and computing. So, Check the schedule, and drop in.  We look forward to having you visit.

If you would like to join our chat sessions and don't want to use an IRC chat client, you may want to try the Java Chat "thingy" which loads in your browser... 
a web site you can chat from -  http://chat.prodigy.net/java/
- click the "Prodigy Java Chat client" link
- give yourself a Nickname (and a password if the nick is registered for chat) and click the "Connect now" button and you are on...
- our room name is [#*sbc_helphub]
- select our room [
#*sbc_helphub] from the dropdown (join a different room) menu and you have arrived.

Directions to the Former SC's PI HelpHub Chat Room

-- Subject: Welcome to the helphub where fellow members will be glad to help  with your questions
-- Room Limit:  currently -- none
-- Status: Open to All SBC/Prodigy accounts... You must be connected via an SBC ISP
-- Times listed: Eastern Time
-- Three ways to connect:

1. A standard IRC client -- several are listed below in the clients section...

2. If you would like to join our chat sessions and don't want to use an IRC chat client, you may want to try the JavaChat "thingy" which loads in your browser...  a web site you can chat from
http://chat.prodigy.net/java/
- click the "Prodigy Java Chat client" link
- give yourself a Nickname (and a password if the nick is registered for chat) and click the "Connect now" button and you are on...
- our room name is #*sbc_helphub
- type "/join #*sbc_helphub" (without quotes) in the typing field of the room you enter automatically (#*chat_central*.chat_central_1) after arrival, hit enter and you will join the new room.

3. Mozilla users can join in using Chatzilla -- just click this link  irc://irc.prodigy.net/#*sbc_helphub

Below is the current scheduled  PI/SBC HelpHub  Chat Help Sessions hosted by Special Contributors. Please note that the Former SC Hosts are offering these chat help sessions twice a week -- on Tuesday and Thursday.    Join us!!!

NOTE: PIM is an instant Messenger with NON IRC chat capability. There are no set chat rooms or an IRC server where chat rooms are created as with standard IRC. Users can create "Pseudo-Chatrooms" based on the website in their browser. To join, go to the web site and open the chat feature.

Prodigy no longer provides an IRC client, but any standard  IRC client like mIRC, pIRCh, etc. or JavaChat can be used on irc.prodigy.net
