SWBell - SMTP (outgoing mail) server ......... mail.swbell.net
PacBell - SMTP (outgoing mail) server ......... mail.pacbell.net
SBC/Global - SMTP (outgoing mail) server ... mail.sbcglobal.net
    (if unable to send with that server try
        the login server) ...................... smtpauth.flash.net

Any aberration of PI protocol settings would depend on a particular client
design, for example Eudora and Pegasus Mail noted above.
