I was born in Balikpapan in 1929 and trying to reestablish my bonds with that beautiful country of tens of thousands of islands. I go there regularly once a year now I'm retired. In the meantime I live in Vancouver, Canada where we also have a community of people with Indisch/Indonesian background. It helps me with pursuing my production of paintings, landscapes, temples and dancers, even the odd family group portraits. O yes and I like tofu and eat it quite a lot.
