***ALAN'S FAVORITE PRESS RELEASES FROM THE EARLY YEARS TO LAS VEGAS***

"ALAN'S FIRST TOUR

It was a hot summer night in July of 1971 when I ventured to a North Seattle Tavern for the talent contest that would change my life. After being coaxed by a group of friends I took a chance of being embarrassed about my most personal lifetime dream. To stand up and sing Elvis songs in front of a large crowd. The place was packed with 500 or more people on that Sunday talent night at Eagars Tavern. As I walked toward the stage I overheard many of the audience's comments like "Oh! I'm sure" "Look at the Little Elvis". By the time I got up to the stage I was sufficiently angered as to not worry about being embarrassed. I not only ended up winning the talent contest but the club hired me to perform one night a week. I took the house band into a Seattle studio "The Have A Nice Day Recording Studio" and recorded an EP called Alan Sings "A Tribute To Elvis". It consisted of a medley of 6 of my favorite Elvis songs and I narrated between each song. I took it around to many Seattle nightclubs and Talent agencies. Soon I was performing a Tribute To Elvis one night a week in five different nightclubs.

The articles you are about to read summarize my first national tour and picks up at my first truly professional booking. "The Spokane House"
