About the Freebies: The free patterns or
Electric Quilt software project files offered are for
your personal or non-profit use only . The project
files are compatible with Electric Quilt software
only. I have noted on each project if you can
access these freebies directly on this site or if you
need to email me so I can send
them to you.
Patterns Online -- If a project offeres
a PDF file containing instructions or patterns, you will
need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to access it. Once
you have downloaded and installed the Reader, follow
these instructions for downloading the pattern files:
Right click
on the PRINTABLE PATTERN link corresponding with
the project. If you use the Netscape web browser,
choose "Save Link As" to download the
file. If you use Internet Explorer web browser,
choose "Save Target As." I recommend
this method more highly than left-clicking and
attempting to print the PDF pattern directly from
your web browser's window. This way is much
quicker and less prone to hangups.
Save the file
to the file folder of your choice on your hard
drive.
You can open
the file while either online or offline.
When printing
the pattern file, be sure the Fit To Page option
is NOT checked in the Print
dialogue box.
If you have
questions, please email me.
EQ Project Files
- - If you use
Electric Quilt 4 or 5 software, I can send you the project
file(s) containing the block pattern(s).
Technical
Difficulties: Rare is the case in
which technical difficulties or limitations prevents
someone from receiving a free pattern or project file.
However, in case it does, for a small fee (or in exchange
for fabric if that's preferable), I can print out a hard
copy of the pattern sheet or pattern(s) from the Electric
Quilt project and snail mail them. Again, simply email me to make the
arrangements.
To
view a quilt, left-click
on the thumbnail image. A small window containing a
larger picture and details about the quilt will appear.
Each quilt has its own small window.
