CREDENTIALS.

Hi. I am Leslie Bryon, LMHC (Licensed Mental Health Counselor), and N.C.C. (National Certified Counselor) I have a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the Miami Institute of Psychology (Miami, Fla).

My therapeutic approach is Cognitive-Behavioral (that is, there is a connection among our Beliefs, Feelings and Behaviors). We ACT as we THINK. So if we change the way we THINK and/or BELIEVE we can change the way we BEHAVE. I also believe in the use of Humor as a therapeutic Tool.

As a counselor I have worked for more than 10 years in different clinical settings (such as Partial Hospitalization Programs, Community Mental Health Centers, as you can verify if you just surf around the pages that I have uploaded here:

Eating disorders.
Dual diagnosis.
Elderly: (Alzheimers, Dementia).
Depression.
Anxiety disorders.
Sexual disorders.
Interpersonal relationships: dating, marriage counseling, etc.

Therapy helps with problems of daily living.

Talking about your problems to a trained listener can be helpful.
