Clint Cancio, pianist, received his Bachelor of Music from Notre Dame de Namur University, where he was awarded the NDNU Music Department Award for Outstanding Musical Performance and Academic Achievement. His principal teachers include Paul Hersh and John McCarthy at San Francisco Conservatory of Music, Norman Krieger and Antoinette Perry at University of Southern California, and currently Thomas LaRatta at Notre Dame de Namur University. He has participated in master classes for such esteemed artists as John Perry, Stephan Prutsman, and John O' Conor.

Clint has performed in numerous recitals in the San Francisco Bay Area and appeared as a featured soloist with the Oakland Youth Orchestra and Redwood Symphony. He was chosen to give special performances for both First Lady Laura Bush and her Royal Highness Princess Christina of Sweden at their respective visits to San Francisco. Clint has received awards at many local Bay Area competitions including the Kohl Mansion Competition (where he is the youngest winner in the history of the event), the San Francisco Young Pianists' Competition, the Pacific Musical Society Competition, the Berkeley Music Club Piano Competition, the California Association of Professional Music Teacher's (CAPMT) Concerto Competition, and the San Jose Music Study Club Young Artist Competition. Most recently, he received the Kenneth Bennight Memorial Award after winning second place at the 32nd annual International Corpus Christi Young Artists' Competition.

Clint is also an accomplished violinist, having performed in orchestras such as San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra, Redwood Symphony, San Francisco Concerto Orchestra, and as concertmaster of the University of Southern California Community Orchestra. He is a faculty member at Crestmont Conservatory of Music in San Mateo where he teaches both piano and violin. Clint is currently working towards his Master of Music at NDNU where he has joined the faculty as a piano instructor and vocal coach.
