Do you want to help our hounds, but can't adopt or foster at this time? Here are other ways that you can help us make lasting greyhound connections!

CGC is in desperate need of foster homes. Right now we only have a few families that foster full time and one that can foster short-term, so we are limited in how many dogs we can take to help find homes! Fostering for CGC requires nothing more than a place to house the dog and some extra love to give...we take care of the rest. Sounds easy, huh?

CGC is a 501(c)3 tax-exempt charity, and therefore is able at this time to issue receipts for tax-deductible donations. Here are some things that we need:

Blankets, muzzles, gently worn cool down and warm coats, toys, corn/soy free treats, Interceptor/Frontline/Advantage, leashes, collars, worn out leashes and collars (we use the hardware), and crates/X-pens

You can also specifically sponsor one of our hounds up for adoption* by either sending one of the above items specifically for one of our fosters, or sending a monetary donation. (Be sure to let us know if an item is specifically for a particular foster dog by marking it.) If you choose to sponsor a hound or send an item specifically for hounds in foster care, we will send you updates on your sponsored/supported hound and a digital photo of him/her with his/her new family when adopted! *This program does not apply to dogs we have listed that are still on the farm or in the track kennel.

If you are interested in becoming a foster home for CGC, please email us for an application. We ask that our foster homes have prior greyhound experience, and be in our adoption area of Western NC/SC/Northern GA (preference given to SC).
