The 23rd concert season climaxes on Sunday May 18 with an 'encore concert' with the Chicago Christian Fellowship Band at First Covenant Church. 316 Wood Road, Rockford, IL.
This concert will be the "First Annual Fred Manning Hubbell Memorial Concert."
Mr. Hubbell was the founding director of RCFBand and was also involved with the CCFBand; he died April 28, 2007 at the age of 83. The bands will combine to play many of Mr. Hubbell's compositions and arrangements.
Dixie Simons, long time narrator for Fred Hubbell and CFB will return to narrate the program and revisit the history of Fred Hubbell and his musical career
