Rockford Christian Fellowship Band

The Christian Fellowship Band, located in Rockford, Illinois
is a "Community Concert Band with a Christian Ministry".

RCFBand was organized in 1985 by Fred M. Hubbell, as part of an effort to encourage the performance of concert music within the church and community.

RCFBand is independent of any religious affiliation (although it uses facilities and services provided by First Covenant) and has grown to include musicians representing many churches.
The band consists of dedicated Christian musicians, performs at community events, churches and retirement centers, and is noted for its rousing marches, inspirational concert music; music appropriate for the occasion and season.

Over 200 musicians have played with the concert band in the 24 years of its ministry.

The band is now conducted by George E. Strombeck
noted composer, arranger, instrumentalist, and director.
