The 23rd concert season climaxed on Sunday May 18 with the "First Annual Fred Manning Hubbell Memorial Concert."
Mr. Hubbell was the founding director of CFB; he died April 28, 2007 at the age of 83. The band played many of Mr. Hubbell's compositions and arrangements.
Dixie Simons, long time narrator for Fred Hubbell and CFB returned to narrate the program and revisit the history of Fred Hubbell and his musical career
