Class Assignments

Exploratory Wheel - No experience necessary. Students in the Exploratory Wheel will learn: to read and write notes in treble and bass clef, to play and care for recorders.

Beginning Band - Students should be practicing at home for about 30 minutes a day for 5 days a week. Yamaha Band Student Book 1 page 13-15. Work on articulations: legato, staccatto, accent and slurs.

Symphonic Band - Students should have Bb and Eb,and Ab Concert scale memorized. Work on Christmas March, The Most Wonderful Time and Have Yourself a Merry Little Chrstmas

Jazz Band - Audition only. limited instrumentation. Rehearsals are Thursdays 4:30-6:00. Work on Blues at Frog Bottom and Up on the House Top.
