Adult Ocicat Adoptions

Looking for a companion? Why not adopt an adult Ocicat from the listings on this page? In most cases, an adult from a reputable cattery has received high quality nutrition from birth, is highly socialized to people and other animals, has received excellent medical care, and has been well-trained in such things as litter box training and not clawing furniture. Adult Ocicats make wonderful companions.
This is a free placement service dedicated to finding homes for adult Ocicats. Contact the breeder directly. Each breeder will specify their own requirements for adoptions, which will likely require an adoption fee. Shipping and handling charges may be additional. Some fees may be negotiable but keep in mind that a pedigreed Ocicat adult represents a considerable expenditure in food, housing, medical care and exhibition expenses. Additionally, if a breeder has adopted the Ocicat listed, they may have other adults or older kittens available for adoption as well.

Remind you of a Snow Leopard? Born in Helsinki, Finland and exported in 1996 as a kitten, CH, PR Anorien's Aragorn of Techichimec ("Arttu") is a retired, neutered, chocolate silver spotted Ocicat. During his noteworthy career as a stud, he produced champions and grand champions, including "Shark", the Best Silver Ocicat in the Southwest Region for the 1998-99 show season. "Arttu" is a big boy, weighing in at 19 pounds. When he wants nose-to-nose kitty love, it feels like a 20 pound bag of cat food has just jumped into your lap! He's got a strong, dominant, possessive personality so he'd have to be a single King of the House boy. He has excellent house manners but you'll have to lock up your paper towels---his passion is making "snow" in the kitchen! If you're looking for a taste of the wild, this affectionate, huge, wild-looking "Snow Leopard" will steal your heart. He's got lots of love waiting for just the right family. If you think you'd like to adopt him or would like more information, email the breeder directly at: arttu@techichimec.com.

CH Rabeau's Schmoo is a 6 year old spay who is a very loving Ocicat with a cute little voice. While she's not crazy about being carried around, she is the type that loves to be petted and likes to cuddle up next to you wherever you are! She is a small to medium sized chocolate spotted Ocicat who weighs about 6-7 pounds. We think she'd thrive in a home with no other cats so we're looking for a home where she'd be a single. She is a much loved breeding queen who is now ready for a pampered life of leisure. Please email us for more specific info or if you'd like to see more pictures. Sorry this one of her isn't her best! To adopt, email the breeder directly at: WOCICATS@aol.com.

CH YouWildThing Jaguar of Techichimec is a 1-1/2 year old neutered male. Jag is a chocolate spotted Ocicat who is now retired from breeding and showing. He is an affectionate lovebug and the perfect lap kitty. He would make a wonderful companion as the king of the house, or with one or two other cats. He's calm, was never a sprayer and loves to use his litterbox. He's been very healthy and is now ready for a loving home. He'd be fine with older children. He is a Champion and is a CFA registered pedigreed Ocicat. Photo ©2000 by Chanan.

GC Walnuthollow Jig of Ridgemount is altered and retired from breeding. Jig is a 3-1/2 year old chocolate spotted male who is very kind but somewhat shy. Jig, a Grand Champion, is a CFA registered pedigreed Ocicat. He has lived in our great room in a large stud cage right next to our dining room table. Now that he is neutered he runs freely in our son's large downstairs apartment. He would be good as a single cat or with another cat who wouldn't try to dominate him. He is affectionate in a quiet setting. Jig is healthy and does not spray. Once he is comfortable in his new surroundings, he could probably be shown in Premiership. Photo ©2000 by Chanan.
