Hi to everyone in the Class of 1965.
It is a snowy day in Cincinnati, Ohio.  I am so glad to find out about the Class Reunion. I am looking forward to seeing everyone again.   Please keep me informed.  I will check in on the Internet and feel free to e-mail me anytime!
Sue Headland Snyder

Greetings to Classmates of '65.  Many years have gone by, and I look forward to seeing you again.
Wayne Andrick

Dave Atkinson and Pamela Spiker Atkinson send greetings and are looking forward to being there in September.

While I thank you for having the year 2000 reunion on my birthday, Sept.23, as a working American I will not have enough vacation time to make it up there from Texas.  Sorry.
Have fun. (I made it on the 25th)
John Foster

Thanks to the planning committee for the time and energy put into the 2000 Reunion.  We look forward to seeing everyone.
Mike Davis and Cheryl (Burgy) Davis

Hello fellow 65 grads.  I haven't made it to any reunions yet but we aren't getting any younger so I hope to make it to this one.
Williard T. Baum

I'm looking forward to another great class reunion, but could it really be 35 years?
Thanks reunion committee for all of your hard work.
Margaret (Hopkins) Grim

After reading the listing on the Rememberence Page I came away with the feeling that this was most certainly a reunion I must attend.  There are 51 names on the list and you have to figure that among the missing names there are probably even more that are no longer with us.  It is not beyond theorizing that perhaps 10 percent of our class is gone and that the pace will be picking up substantially over the next few years.  It certainly makes you think about the lack of permanence in our lives and appreciate those who are here all the more because you realize that the time with them may be short.  As I think about how many more will be on that list before the next reunion I know that it is time to come back before the list gets any longer.
Tom McIntire

What a great idea.....thank heavens for all this wonderful technology.
Tina (Sandy) Peter

It's hard to believe that it's been 35 years since graduating high school.  I have only been to one reunion in that time and that was the 25th.  I hope to attend this reunion and see others that might not have been at the 25th year reunion.  I think the September time frame is a great idea.
Marilyn (Flanagan) Farrar

Hello class of '65.  Can't believe it's been 35 years....seems like yesterday!  Are we really in our 50's?  Special hello to those classmates in homeroom 206 and to Kim Archer in Boston and Carol Caplinger in Charlotte (the old neighborhood gang).  Hey, Harry Brooks, if you make it to the reunion I'll pay you the two bucks I still owe ya on the Cassius Clay fight!  Look forward to seeing everyone in September.
Steve Uhlman
Columbus, OH

Greetings from Florida!
Class of '65 - Looking forward to be there in 2000.
Pam McGinnis

Greetings from San Diego, CA.   Many thanks to the Reunion Committee for all your work!  Can't wait to see you all again in September.
Peggy (Clark) Murray

Wow, can't believe I'm going to attend a 35 yr. high school reunion!  I'm not that old!  Hope all PHS'ers of 1965 have had a good life.  Looking forward to seeing old friends.
Donna (Langfitt) Wren

Hello Class of 1965.  Where have all these years gone?  Tom McIntire wrote so eloquently about the listings on the Rememberance Page.  I agree with him.  It is now time I attended a reunion.  Therefore my husband and I will be attending.  I am looking forward to seeing old friends & classmates.
Sylvia (Rader) Lyons

It's been a long time......
Dan Edgell

I'm Diane (Shartsis) Wax and hope to join you at the 35th.  I live in Bethesda, Maryland (Washington, D.C., Metro Area) and have been here since graduating from W.V.U..
Diane (Shartsis) Wax

Dear Classmates:
This web page is such a nice idea.  I'm not sure at this point whether I will make it to the reunion.  Bob and I are living in Florida now and we both have very busy schedules and fall is especially busy.  Hope to see many of you in September.

P.S. Thanks to Bill Collins for building the web page.
Carol (Postlewaite) Thorne

Hello from Milwaukee.  Hope to see many of you in September.
Tom Hartman

With Parhischan and emotions in hand I peeked into my past.  I re-read the snippets that were written so long ago, for the most part no one wrote anything 'that' bad!  I hope that can be said for me as well.   I have enjoyed our children looking at this book of memories and have endured the comments about the 'styles' among other things.

On a more serious note, after reading what Tom McIntire wrote I am seriously considering coming to the reunion.  I never really gave much deliberation about going to one, thinking that no one would really be concerned either way.  A long-forgotten memory may spur us all to give this serious thought.  Tom you surely gave me reason to think about it.

Thanks Tom.

Thanks also to Bill Collins, the Web Slave, the page looks impressive.  A special thank you to Margaret (Hopkins) Grim.   Without her e-mail I would never had known about all of you and this page.
Dee (Stapleton) Martin

I want to thank Steve Uhlman for his persistance in getting in touch  with me for the 35th reunion.  It doesn't seem like it could be that long since we all graduated.  Tom's thoughts put it very much in focus, that none of us are getting any younger.  My wife Patty (Wigal) Peck (Class of '66) and I are planning on being there, and looking forward to seeing many old friends.
Charles R. (Bob) Peck, Home Room 206

Just checking up on our class.   Sad to see so many names on the rememberance list.
Valory (Blair) Riel

I am really looking forward to the reunion!  The last one I attended was the 25th.  Hope to see a lot of familiar faces.
Ronda (Gilligan) Cooper

Hello Class of '65!  How can it be 35 years????  Surely it was just a couple of years ago that we were all standing in the Field House melting under our wool-blend, drab grey robes wishing we were NOT the largest class in the history of PHS.  Of course, those of us in the "front" of the alphabet were gloating just a little.:-).  Anyway, just wanted to say Hi.
Linda (Eddy) Stollar

I'm looking forward to another great class reunion, but could it really be 35 years???.

Thanks reunion committee for all your hard work.
Margaret (Hopkins) Grim

Looking forward to another good one.
Linda (Longmire) Mason

Hi Class of '65!  I haven't kept in touch with ANYONE and as this will be my first reunion to attend, I wonder if I will know anyone.  See you in September.
Linda (Mace) Haynes Mann

"I'm a Big Red born and a Big Red bred, and when I die, I'll be a Big Red dead, say PH..PHS..."  Hope Judy Dobbins is there to lead us in a cheer!  I'm looking forward to taking my husband and daughters to the football game and the PHS tour.  Can't wait to show them the "Journal" room where I spent most of my days.
Vicki (Phillips) Casto

Hello to all in the Class of '65!

Where have all the years gone?  I certainly don't feel that old. Thanks to all on the Reunion Committee.  You've done a wonderful job with the planning, and the Contact List is a great idea.  Looking forward see everyone in September!
Susie (Corrie) Jennings

I have often wondered what happened to my fellow classmates from '65.  After reading the rememberances I was deeply saddened to see so many names I recognized.  After my father died in '98, I was shocked to think that my brother and I were the older generation.  How could that happen, just yesterday, I had my 40th birthday.

Anyway, I will be checking back often to see the latest news of the Class of '65.  From the comments in the guestbook, it appears that we have spread far and wide across the US.  Myself, I came to Richmond, VA, after graduating from WVU.

The Reunion would be fun, but I will be on a trip to Fla that week, but I will see you all at the 40th.
John Boston

Hello to all!!  I missed our last reunion but we hope to attend this year.  Gloria Halbert...how are your teeth??   The plans sound terrific for the weekend...all of you did a great job.  We look forward to seeing everyone.
Barbara (Niday) Powell

Class of 1965,

I am again looking forward to seeing all and catching-up on news!!!
Jim Chancey

Greetings from Bill and Judy (Moss) Airhart.
It is with deep regret that we will not be able to attend our reunion this year. Unfortunately, there is a conflict with a pre- planned vacation. We have attended every reunion and will miss seeing old friends. PHS is dear to us and hopefully, we will make the next reunion. Have fun, give a cheer and do a little dance for us!

Looking forward to seeing friends and touring the school.  See you soon.
Edith 'Edie' Kiddy Tomlinson

Unfortunately, I am unable to find a box-pleated wool skirt with matching sweater set to wear to the sock hop!  Seriously, I will not be in attendance this year due to a family emergency.  I will be thinking of my fellow PHS grads and hope you have a memorable weekend.
Karen M. Rodgers
