My friends

My family's bloodlines trace back to many different places.  On Daddy's side, we trace back to the Cherokee tribe, and we have a distant tie to the Bouvier family.  (Yes, Jackie-O's family.)  Great-Grandma Mary Ann Smith was a 'black sheep' in the Bouvier clan for marrying Great-Grandpa Melvin Smith (an Irish protestant), as the family legend tells.  On Mommy's side, we trace back to the early homesteaders in Eastern Montana, Western North Dakota, and the Midwest (Iowa and central Indiana).  Going further back, we have ties to Denmark (Jacobsen) and the emigrants aboard the HMS Mayflower (Brown).

Daddy's side produced many gifted and intelligent technicians, especially in matters automotive and mathematical, and those involving computers.  Mommy's side produced a long line of educators and teachers.

Both sides contributed a talent for music and photography, both of which you see throughout my site. :-)
