U.T.S.A. Graduate!!!

UTSA GRADUATION 

EVENT  AND HOTEL INFOMATION
December 15, 2001  9 a.m.
Finally!  On  December 15, 2001 at 9 a.m. at the U.T.S.A. Convocation Center in San Antonio, Texas I will be a college graduate.

I would like to especially thank the following people for tremendous financial and emotional contributions to my education.  I apologize if I overlooked anyone it's been a long time coming.

December 13, 2001
  • Noon-2 p.m.--Listen to Andean Fusion at Rivercenter mall while enjoying lunch at any number of restaraunts.  They play until 8:30 p.m. 6 days a week if you want to come back you can!
  • 3:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.--Keep posted.
  • 8:30 p.m.--Pat Godwin at Rivercenter Comedy Club $12, Dinner or appetizers also served. 
December 14, 2001
  • Noon-2 p.m.--Listen to Andean Fusion at Rivercenter mall while enjoying lunch at any number of restaraunts.  They play until 8:30 p.m. 6 days a week if you want to come back you can!
  • 2:00-5:00 p.m.-- Visit the infamous Alamo right next to Rivercenter Mall.
  • Dusk--Fiesta de las Luminarias Between 5:00 and 6:00 p.m. approx. on the Riverwalk.  Lighting of the way for the Holy Family.  Every weekend in December, if you prefer you can do it Thursday or Saturday.
  • 6:30-9:45 p.m.- Holiday Boat Caroling  Music on the Riverwalk all weekend long.  Now might be a good time to pick out one of many different types of delicious restaraunts and eat which listening or just walk and sing along.

  • 9 a.m. - U.T.S.A. Convocation Center for Commencement Ceremonies for Liberal Arts Majors.
  • 10 a.m. - Rececption U.T.S.A. Convocation Center following Commencement Ceremonies 
  • 1:00-2:00 p.m.--Listen to Andean Fusion at Rivercenter mall while enjoying lunch at any number of restaraunts.  They play until 8:30 p.m. 6 days a week if you want to come back you can!
  • 6:00-10:00p.m.--Dinner Reception at Fort Sam Houston Officers Club for Guests of Cynthia M. Velez
December 16, 2001
  • 3:30 p.m. & 6:30 p.m.--The Nutcracker playing at IMAX Theater in Rivercenter mall.
  • Various - Fiesta Navidenas are various events at the Market Square/El Mercado, Downtown San Antonio.
