Comments: I was talking with a friend going through a divorce
(after 16 years of marriage--3 children) and a recent
break-up with current boyfriend. In telling her how
God "carried" me through my recent loss of home/beloved
cat, etc. I said it was just like the poem "Footprints".
I told her God will carry her too, if she askes Him.
(She is not a born again Christian yet.) She said she
had not heard of that poem. I am forwarding it to her.

Comments: This poem had helped me understand a lot. My mother passed away May 3, 2001,
and she had a very hard life of abuse and the loss of two children, and through it all
she still believed, and this poem tells me that through all her hardships in life God

Comments: In May of 1997, my uncle passed away from kidney failure. Testing was
almost complete to give him one of my kidneys but it was not meant to be, for God
thought it best to take him home. "Footprints" helped me to get through the
rough times. This poem was handed out to the people who attended my uncle's funeral.
