Wavey Woodsharks

I call these new carving tools the "Wavey Woodsharks". They are carbide-tipped, light-weight saws that are used with high-speed rotary grinders. They come in a 2" or 3" diameter and  have a 3/8" grinding width. They are used with the #840 (1-1/2" long)  or #842 ( 2-3/4" long) adaptors. Die Grinder with 2&3" Wavey Wood Sharks

Lancelot

Angle grinder with  4" LANCELOT carver and 4"   #714 and #1150 burr grinders. The "Lancelot" wood carver is an attachment for a 4" or 4-1/2" high-speed angle grinder with a 5/8" arbor.  It is a chainsaw-type cutter fitted between two patented 4" discs. They come in a 22-tooth model ( #45822) and a 14-tooth model ( #45814). The more coarse 14-tooth model rapidly hogs out wood faster than the 22-tooth model, but requires more finishing steps.

Percival

The "Percival" miniature carvers are an attachment for high-speed electric mini-die grinders or air grinders  ( up to 25,000RPM) with 1/4" (6mm) collet that  has a barrel depth of at least  1-1/4"  ( such as a Makita Die Grinder ). Variable speed control highly recommended for mini-die grinders. The  tool has a 2" diameter , 8-tooth chain saw cutting blade and comes in a 4-5/16" long model ( #42508) or 6" long ( #62508) model.
