Notes on in stock Items and Ordering
Items with a star (*) beside the model number are commonly in stock at all times. Items with out the star are special order items and thus these items will take a little longer for delivery to you.
SSG carbide teeth are manufactures in various coarseness. The higher the number, the more coarse the teeth. The standard 1/4" shank burrs are SSG 330. The standard 1/8" shank burrs are SSG 170.
If ordering anything that comes with "grit" teeth (Ex. files), the lower the number the more coarse the teeth. I no longer sell the 1/4" and 1/8" shanked burrs in "grit" finishes. #36 grit is the most coarse that the burrs are made in. This bit doesn't suit the bonsai communities need as well as the SSG 330 standard burr does.
