Velek was born into a small family of Moonelves. His family lives on a farm near a large forest, near a group of kin. Velek has two brothers and one sister. Velek is the oldest of his siblings. His father maintained discipline in the family and made sure his family, even the women, knew how to use a sword and other weapons to defend themselves. When Velek came of age he felt stagnant at living on the farm and wanted to go out into the world. Velek throughout his youth learned a lot from his parents and from his teachers in school. When the time was right he went out into the world. His parents understood his needs and knew that they would be okay since there were other men in the family to tend the farm and protect the family. His first quest was as a guard on a caravan heading south of his farm to the town of Weymout. This journey was long and filled with adventure. He got to meet people of different races along the way and developed an appreciation for life, gaining experience from life and having fun along the way. He also did not develop a prejudice for any race but a hatred for those who caused hurt onto others for sheer amusement. He also took a disliking towards many of the creatures that attacked the caravan he was guarding on the way to Weymout. Along the way he accumulated enough funds to buy better weapons and armor then he left home with. Velek also learned an appreciation for the magical arts as they have saved him many times in his first quest and worshipped his deity Tempus more and more each day. He appreciated the clerics that were on the caravan too as they helped him out in a spiritual manner as one of the clerics was a cleric of Tempus who was a pretty good fighter as well. Being an Elf Velek had an understanding of nature and respect for the land and animals that did not cause him any harm. Upon arriving at Weymout he was paid for his services to the caravan and he decided to relax for a while before leaving on his next quest. Sometime there after his current comrades came along and that's where he joined up with them. During his time in Weymout he worked for the various town folk in exchange for shelter and food.

Velek is a Moon Elf. He has the typical points on his ears that can be seen when his hair is not covering them. He is a rather tall male for any elven race. He stands 6'1" tall. He weighs 195 pounds which through hard physical training is all muscle. His hair is white and shoulder length. His eyes are silver. He wears splint mail armor and carries a shield. His armor is looking like he has been on many a quest in his time. He has all weather boots. The crest of Tempus his diety is on both his shield and breastplate of his armor. He has a cloak that is attached to the inside of the back of his armor. He wears a helmet on his head to protect himself from head injuries. He usually is wearing gloves escept when sleeping .
