Problem Areas In My Research

1. Henry Darrah first appears on Marshall Co., WV, records in 1832. Is he the same Henry Darrah that lived in Greene Co, PA in 1806 and in Monongalia Co, WV, in 1810? I have no connection between 1810 and 1832.

2. A Marshall Co., WV, history says that Peter Spoon was a Revolutionary War veteran. I can find no record of this so far.

3. Several DAR and SAR applications say William Wilson fought at the battle of Yorktown. I can find no evidence to support this statement.

3. What was the birthplace of the Elizabeth Gillespie who married Michael Wilson in Belmont Co., OH, in 1827?
