  • Kicks are striking techniques done with the foot or leg.
    1. Axe kick is done with the heel.
    2. Back snap kick is done with the heel. It is known as ushiro geri keage in Japanese.
    3. Back thrust kick is done with the heel. It is known as ushiro geri kekomi in Japanese.
    4. Crane kick is done with the toes.
    5. Crane lotus kick is done with the top of the foot.
    6. Crescent kick is done with the bottom of the foot or the top of the foot.
    7. Flip kick is done with the instep of the foot.
    8. Front snap kick is done with the heel, ball of the foot, or with the toes. It is known as mae geri keage in Japanese.
    9. Front thrust kick is done with the heel, ball of the foot, or with the toes. It is known as mae geri kekomi in Japanese.
    10. Side snap kick is done with the outer edge of the heel. It is known as yoko geri keage in Japanese.
    11. Side thrust kick is done with the outer edge of the heel. It is known as yoko geri kekomi in Japanese.
    12. Tiger kick is done with the instep.
    13. Tornado kick.
    14. Whip kick.
  • Kris is a Indonesian and Malayian knife style with a wavy blade. It makes a very nasty wound.
