These are terms that I have come across in my readings of Greek history and archaeology.

    A

  • Ankule is a thong or strap attached to a throwing spear, javelin. It was used to retrieve a thrown spear.
    • Ano pankration means the standing upright method and techniques of pankration.
  • Arhareeos means a pankration student.
