Dean's Baha'i Page

O MY CHILDREN! I fear lest, bereft of the melody of the dove of heaven, ye will sink back to the shades of utter loss, and, never having gazed upon the beauty of the rose, return to water and clay. (from "The Hidden Words" by Baha'u'llah)

What is the Baha'i faith?

In the Baha'i faith, we believe that over the ages, God has sent various Messengers, such as Moses, Jesus and Muhammad, to teach us about religion. Each of these Messengers teaches a message that is suited to the day and age in which They live, but also contains the same universal spiritual truths. We believe that the most recent of these Messengers is Baha'u'llah, born in Persia in 1817. He taught the oneness of mankind, the unity of all the world's religions, and the equality of all men and women in the world. Please check out some of the links below to find out more about the Baha'i faith.
