| Our
Home...
We own our home in Castro Valley, California, which is about 40 minutes
from San Francisco. We share our home with our two cats, who are sisters,
named Feisty and Angel. Castro Valley is a quiet community of residential
neighborhoods located in the east bay hills. Our home is only a few blocks
from an elementary, middle and high school, and three parks - one with
a lake. We also have a swim center in our neighborhood, where all the
neighborhood kids spend most of their summer. We have a large front and
back yard, where we spend most of our time when we are at home. We all
love to garden, including Blake, and every summer our families can't wait
for our vegetables. We are already planning to add a swing set and playhouse
to the backyard!
Our
Family...
Debbie has one older brother who is married and has two boys, Ben and
Tom, ages 5 and 4. Brian has one brother and sister, both are married
and have one boy and one girl, John, Nicole, Danielle and Mike, ranging
in age from 11-17. In addition, Brian has a very large extended
family including several aunts, uncles and cousins, which gets together
for an annual family picnic and special events. Our immediate family live
very close to us, which allows us to get together for all of the birthdays
and holidays. Both of our families can't wait to meet the newest addition
to our family.
Our
Work...
Debbie is a stay at home mom. Brian works only 15 minutes from home and
is a limited partner in his family business. Flexible hours will allow
him to work from home when needed.
Education...
We both have BS Degrees from California State University Hayward and we
value education and want to provide a college education for our child,
if he or she chooses. At the same time, we want to support what is best
for our child, regardless of the interest - academics, sports, mechanics,
arts, computers, etc. We believe compassion for others is an important
lesson to impart to a child. We
donate every year to our local food bank and donate toys to our local
fire station.
Our
Hobbies...
Brian has been an avid fisherman since the age of three.
One of his first memories is when his grandfather sat
him on his lap and let him reel in his first catfish.
He still enjoys fishing to this day and can't wait until
he can place a fishing pole in his son or daughter's hand
and feel the excitement of reeling in a fish for the first
time.
Since
getting married Debbie has enjoyed fishing with Brian and also enjoys
cooking, reading, and gardening. Together we enjoy riding our bikes, skiing,
and camping. We love to spend time at Brian's family condominium, which
is located at Lake Tahoe. One of our favorite things to do is to travel
and we can't wait to bring our new family on trips.

We want to give your child a carefree, happy childhood. We want to rock
your child to sleep, provide comfort when they get hurt, sing together,
take walks in nearby parks, picnics and bicycle rides, and sharing the
wonders of Christmas and traveling to new places.
