(As narrated by Ermenrich von Duisburg and illustrated by Gotfrid von Schwaben)
Indeed this tale is better told in person and some day I shall tell you as it ought, but I shall tell it here so it is told in full at least once in writing without any tampering.
A long time ago (last spring) there was a man (ok he was 20) named Matt (some people call him Ermenrich).
Now Matt was a lover of the theatre and so he tried out for a play called Lysistrata, a
Greek comedy written in 411 B.C. In the play the women protest a war by abstaining from sexual acts with their husbands/lovers. The men obviously find this torture and so give in and make peace.
