According to the 1850 Cole Co, MO census, Louise and family were living with her parents. She and her husband George died in Butte Co, CA.

Herman F FRISCH -- son of Gottlieb & Louisa

Herman F FRISCH was owner of the mill at Boyler's Mill in Morgan county, MO near the Benton county line. He reportedly died when he fell from a building he was helping construct in Sedalia, Pettis Co, MO. Upon his death his two youngest sons Charles and Gottlieb took over operation of the mill.

(Christine) Theresa FRISCH married 5-Nov-1847 at Cole Camp, Benton Co, MO to (Johann Adam) Friedrick GUENTHER. Son-in-law Henry Klinge was in Co C, 49th Illinois Infantry during the Civil War. His wartime diary is in a collection at University of MO.

Gottlieb was born GER 1829, and is reported to have never married, and lived and died in Butte Co, CA

Margaret Anna KEISLING -- wife of Benjamin G FRISCH

Margaret's parents were John KEISLING and Annie Margaret SCHUBERT (1815-1888). Margaret was born in Germany and about 1844/5 (about age 7) came to the US. John died shortly thereafter and Margaret's mother remarried to John ?NEIGHORN. This family is believed to be the one listed in the 1850 census for Cole Co, MO as: Dwelling #336, John Neakhorn 32, Margaret 34, Anna M 12, Margaret 11 (all born Germany) and Adam 2 born in MO.

There is also some confusion about whether she is the first or second wife of Benjamin FRISCH. The Morgan Co, MO history book says that Benjamin married 1st to Margaret Neichborn and 2nd to Margaret Keisling. However, so far no other supporting documentation has been found for this alleged first marriage. Since Neichborn is suspiciously close to Neighorn, it is possible that the history book writers had both last names for Margaret and assumed they were two different people.
