Keynote Speakers– Tuesday

Zeni Fox, Ph.D. serves as the Director of Lay Ministry and Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology at ImmaculateConception Seminary School of Theology, Seton Hall University. She holds a Ph.D. in theology from Fordham University and serves as advisor to the U.S. Bishop’s Committee on Lay Ministry and the subcommittee on Ecclesial Ministry. Dr. Fox is the author of several books including New Ecclesial Ministry: Lay rofessionals Serving the Church. "Thespiritual house that God builds with living stones is ever changing: new ministers: new ministries, fewer priests and sisters. What do these changes call us to as partners in ministry, as co-creators of the future?" The answer to this question will be the focus of her keynote message.

Megan McKenna has traveled the world working with justice and peace groups, parishes, dioceses, and religious communities. She served on the National Board of Pax Christi and was appointed an Ambassador of Peace in 2002. Megan has a graduate degree in Scripture, and a master’s degree in systematic theology from America, the Catholic University of Washington, D.C. She is a popular facilitator of parish missions, retreats and workshops. She is a master storyteller and the author of more than 15 books including Send My Roots Rain: A Spirituality of Justice and Mercyand Keepers of the Story: Oral Tradition in Religion. Megan asks, "Who are we, the living stones of the living God?" She urges you to bring a stone with you and carry it in your pocket…who knows what will be built up when we are together!
